Yup, the accessory terminals have a 10 amp fuse, so I would find a 20 amp to tap into or run right to the battery.

On my first long trip I realized that stock seat gotta go. 75 miles and my butt was hurting. At first I got Mustang DayTripper seat for its low profile look and I loved it a lot for city rides. Its narrow so your legs kinda hanging on a side of the bike. But it provides almost zero back support and my wife complained a lot since her part of the seat was more for look than comfort. So I got regular two piece mustang seat. Because its wide you...

Has anyone heard if Suzuki ever plans on entering the heavy tourer market and putting out a bike like the Voyager, Venture, Wing, etc
It would be nice to have an option like that

you should have searched "oil" there are more than a couple of posts on the subject here.
I will run down as best I can remember.
1) on high performance bikes, the friction modifiers in automobile synthetic oil will cause the clutch plates to slip - shouldn't be an issue on a cruiser
2) my rule of thumb - and this is just me; 5,000 miles.
Others will chime in shortly.
and then ...

I have an '05. I'm looking at swapping the entire seat out for one with a removable sissy bar (Mustang and Corbin make them) or adding a quick detach sissy bar (Jardine makes them).
My bags came with the bike - next time I swing by the winter storage location I'll post and let you know what they are, I've been pretty happy ( black leather, zippered for quick detach).
If you swap out the ...

question about cylinder side cover on S50
Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I don't know if any one saw it on the Mechanics Corner thread.
I'm looking for a place to mount my Stebel air horn and I was thinking of making a short bracket and bolting it down under the front bolt on the left side of the front cylinder head chrome side cover. Before I do that, is there any ...

Congrats on the new bike. I sat on a M90 at the show and it wasn't for me, I'm just too short, but it's a great looking bike. Ride safe.

Seat with removable back
I'm looking for a seat with a removable back so my wife can have a back when she's on, and I can ditch the back when I'm solo. I know Corbin makes one, but it would be about $800 for a new seat and backrest... seems a little high to me.
Anyone have any other recommendations? Or better yet, anyone selling a used Corbin seat?
Bike is an '05 ...
