And stories like these, is why I wouldn't ride to work at 4 am. I've hit 8 deer with the car going to work, all less than 4 miles from the house. 14 years of weldin took a toll on the peepers. So many other stories like these don't turn out as well. Count your blessins.

Given your current feelings and situation, you should probably heal both physically and mentally, and get on with living. That would really suck to have a loved one watch what she probably thought were your last moments.
