I guess I am in the minority here but I quite like Mercola I have done some research of my own on him. He is a successful doctor in good standing with a thriving practice of his own, He has never had a complaint filed against him and I believe that he does what he does with his site because he feels passionately about natural health and wants to educate and inform people. The things he sells he believes in and the money he makes from the sales...

In this case, I do not feel that there are any crazy overprotective c.y.a. warnings. In the case of the H1N1 vaccination, these things are in the fine print of the package insert -- and let's face it, who actually sees the package insert? Even if they handed them out to people -- let's face it, who would actually read the fine print? Because this vaccine is brand-new and unstudied, and because it is unique in the fact that this is...

I would not be at all surprised to find out that nutrition turns out to be rather more central to mass vaccination programmes than is currently thought. It makes sense. Sound nutrition is essential for good health, and I doubt vaccines can replace that. The attempts to get the rota virus vaccine to work in the developing world are not going quite to plan. From what I have understood the nutritional status of the babies is part of the problem.

I am re-opening the thread. I have removed several threads which were either not consistent with our guidelines or were responding to such posts. Please remember that the focus of this discussion needs to remain focused on the vaccine issues. If you wish to further explore breastfeeding issues, please do so in our Breastfeeding forum or privately. Any further disruption of this vaccination discussion will result in removal of the thread. It does seem odd that many "experts' don't know that only 60% of adults are immune to diphtheria, so any "herd immunity", even if it worked for the toxoid, is non-existant.

I have seen various forms like this online over the years....
I would be interested in anybody's personal experience using one. I cannot imagine any doctor being willing to sign one of these, even though they expect us non-vaxing parents to sign the bad mommy form

I wouldn't personally. It bled. It's a child with the injury (good circulation)
I'd be MUCH more worried about infection (and I wouldn't be *that* worried about infection- I'd just watch for it )

It is just mandatory for school.....
some states require it for homeschooling as well, which is ridiculous if you ask me....makes no sense whatsoever. I'm not sure which staes those are however.
There is no other circumstance where vaxing is required by law. There are some employers however that require it for employment (hospitals, healthcare settings etc....) but that of course would ...

I do not know the answer to your question, I would suggest asking your physician. My dad was in the military and was not sure what he had been vaccinated for, so before he traveled abroad, he had his titers checked so he would not get anything he already had immuntiy for.

That is bullcrap. Ask to speak to someone else at the school. You cannot get the vaccines if you are allergic to eggs. I promise there are nurses who are allergic to eggs and can't have certain vaccines. Is it possible for you to get the records stating you had the MMR and mumps as a child? You might be surprised, I have gotten shot records from my drs office 25 years later!

My son had beautiful skin up until 4 months of age when a ped BS'd us into vaccinating him. Bottom line he got 9 shots total (3 sets of DTaP, HiB and PCV) before I started my research at 4, 6 and 8 months of age. Each time after the shots he would get worse and worse outbreak of eczema (I was just too silly to connect the dots till it was too late). He is 4.5yo now and still has problems with ...

I don't have any sources for you but I'm interested if there are any out there. One of my two brothers, myself, and at least half of my maternal cousins (mom's sisters' children) have had reactions to a wide variety of vaccines (5+ kids of 11, with reactions to the old DTP, IPV, MMR, and Hib that I know of). While it's not our only (or maybe even our main) reason for not vaxing, it certainly was ...

I honestly don't follow. There's lots of reasons not to vax but I don't see how your post is one of them. (Nor is it a reason TO vax... I don't see what it is either way). Vaxes not being 100% effective is not a reason not...

I would do everything I could to keep breastfeeding for at least the first year, if not two. I would still not vax if I had to use formula. The risks are still too great than any supposed benefits of vaxes.

Those 2 reasons are just excuses. As you said, they do not want to do double blind studies. There is already evidence of fraud and lies in vaccine studies, as Hilary Butler describes in Just A Little Prick on pages 209-210 about how Dr. J. Anthony Morris worked for DBS (which is now the FDA) to research flu vaccines, and when he showed them the results of his studies about flu ...

Wow! So sorry that happened to you. I'm glad you were able to stand your ground and even correct the immunization team that 's supposed to know all this. What a nurse too. Yeah I've been there. I don't do the wbv so when I brought my 9mo to his ped they were shocked that I hadn't been there. Well he wasn't sick before so no point in going yk. Anyway If your husband is on board with ...
