Hello, I've looked around and couldn't figure out where to post this--if I've posted in the wrong place, I'd love to be pointed in the right direction, thank you!! Our 7 year old is overweight and continues to gain. I want to do some research before his annual physical in a few weeks and need some ideas of where to start. We only have healthy choices (...

My dh and I are both a bit overweight and would love to slim down. But we've never dieted before....and really don't like the idea of dieting...so we'd love to learn some strategies for losing and keeping off the weight without resorting to some fad diet. I'm sure we should exercise more, if
only we could find the time (I walk a lot and dh bikes most days). We ...

When you go to the park and your kids are playing in the sand, do you do exercises? I want to since most parks we go to are deserted and my dd is fine playing with her sand toys by herself. I was thinking of bringing my resistance bands along, but what other types of things can I do besides
lunges and squats? I can go on the swing but it makes me feel sick to go ...

I thought I'd see if there was any interest in an accountability thread for those of us who need to move everyday. It can be tracking your steps, workouts, walks, parking further away, etc. We'll check in everyday or as much as possible and update our activity status and what we're doing to move a little more everyday. Anyone with me?

Anyone else with me? I am (trying) to do the exercises in Julie Tupler's Lose Your Mummy Tummy book. I can describe the first exercises for those who interested. I am finding them very hard to do though, I don't have much muscle tone in these areas at all. I could use some moral support, encouragement, comraderie, etc etc. BTW I have
two little boys and I'm 6 months...

I think there are a fair amount of people who exercise outdoors here. I'd LIKE to do so, but I always wimp out when it's raining or snowing or something like that. Tell me your strategies for
outdoor exercise! I'm going to start taking advantage of the excellent towpath trail not far from my work on my lunch hours, but I need to remind myself that less than ...

OK, I know I won't
lose it all, having had two children. But seriously, it sticks out further than my boobs. How do I flatten my stomach, at least a little? I'm starting to run again for cardio but I need some good exercises to tighten up the abs muscles a bit.
