Your are planning on buying a new radlatlor correct? If so I would get one from your fav parts store if you have room get one from a 80's dodge van with /6 and automatic the size is 2 rows, 18 3/4" x 27 5/8" x 1 1/4" core size. They have a great cooling capacity for a slant and auto trans.. If size is an issue get one for a 76 dodge aspen with /6 auto. The one with ac is a little larger than the one without. I...

Hang on there... The '64, is that the original transmission? I would not have thought so. If it is, is it the same length as 904s in A-bodies? I know about the A833s in trucks. Of course, your mention of the slant 6 with a 727 in a van confirms what I wanted to know.

Is this what you want? Its 125x39 pixles but might be over the 48.8 kb max size for avatars. Copy it and try posting into your user CP avatar box. You can show more than one pic in your posts. Just keep adding more pics by using the "insert image" icon. Keep image size around 400x600 or less for quicker loading. As stated above, use the free InfranView website for that: http://www.irfanview.com/...

Is it a 904 or a 727? The 904 is a shorter tranny than the 727, total length including torque converter housing is about 31". It takes a 26-spline yoke. The 727 is longer by 4" approximately, it takes a 30-spline yoke. But yokes may have different size universal joint mounts. I don't know if it's possible that you might have a motorhome trans... did these come with slants? Wouldn't ...

You can swap in a 318 but you will need a transmission too.Your best bet would be to buy an engine & trans from a salvage yard. Or buy a donor vehicle. 318's & 360's are available from many vehicles. Avoid a truck or van or you will need a different oil pan. Mounts are available from Schumacher www.engine-swaps.com Brake upgrades are recomended too.
