waste of money. If the heads arent 202 heads, you cant make them 202 heads just by putting bigger valves in, not legally anyways. Plus, that bigger valve in a small valve head will actually hurt the flow. I would just stick with the valve size the head came with.

Spent ALL summer getting my car ready and legal. Now this. ANY TRANSMISSION ALLOWED. Any of you have an Idea of how an auto trans with convertor equiped street stock will run vs. a brin style tranny? And over the chassis headers, any idea on those?? Wonder if a set for a mod would fit? I can run modified style upper a arms so that will help. Thanx Allen

Does anyone run a triple disc...
Published (2009-11-23 14:02:00)
We have 3 motors. A pair of 360's and a 340 that we got to run at the end of the year. All are flat top forged pistons now with Eagle SIR rods. 1 stock crank and 2 with Eagle cranks. All balanced. Run chevy valves in all with bronze guides and Hughes 1111 valve springs. Turn the 360's about 7000 and the 340 about 7400.

If you just have the pinion in then you want to have about 30 inlbs of torque to turn it at a constant rate. You need a bar type inlb torque wrench lube the bearings with gear lube tighten the nut till all the end play is out of the bearings then a little more then check to see how much torque you need to turn the pinion at a constant slow speed. Keep tightening till you get about 30-40 inlbs. If you are just replacing a pinion seal then I...

balance your wheels? Weld the holes shut on the axles, that is where they tear. Moser makes any axle size you want, nothing a couple hundred bucks cant solve.
