I purchased the autopal H4 lights from ebay. They are the euro style, Hella lookalike. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/165mm-H46...sQ5fAccessories Exactly what 84ZZ4 suggested. They are awesome. Plus, if I want to go true HID later, I dont have to change the lens. I followed 84ZZ4 advice and everything fell into place. Those lens, harness, & single pigtail. BAM

G-bodies don't use a park/neutral safety switch for the starter. the column mechanically blocks the key from turning to the start position when the trans is in any gear other than park or neutral. HOT ROD, check the grounds for your rear lights. in the trunk there is a connector over on the left side for the wiring, i believe on the tail light side of the connector the tail light wires split for left and right sides. the wiring could be...

You can get quick connects from fastenal for the vac lines. I use them on large machine air lines all the time for a factory quality repair.

Check your guages fuse,stop/hazzard fuse and radio fuse as they are all in the same intertwined circuit.Next cycle Hazzard switch several times as it may be corroded. Still no brake lights, pull the lower panel and look at the long connector on the underneath of the steering column, find the white wire and see if its burned/shorted or broken.Lots of times the connector will be melted. did you connect the wires from the neutral switch on the lower part of the column to your new shifter? If not, the neutral switch thinks the car is in Park all the time and that is why it starts in any gear.

not sure, but I would look at your starter for how many teeth, I believe staggered bolts mean 168 and non-staggered are 153. There's the LT1 mini starter also.

Same way as the stock one except you will be bypassing the stock printed circuit board. Hook the wire that runs through the firewall from the tach filter to the signal input on the tach, add power and ground and you should be good to go.

The stainless steel bulb holding bands may need some cleanup at this time! I used ultra fine steel wool to clean them. Then I decided to paint them black. I used self-etching primer and trim black paint. Some tapered wood shim stock will assist in holding up the coves, when removing those band screws. I cut thin posterboard panels to help protect the paint on those coves also! I LUV my H4's...
