Stretch denim leggings?

Mine are soft knit, but I think mine are the other color. I would check with Nordstroms because it's always better if you try them on, especially with junior sizing. _________________ Deborah Mama to 3 Deborah Justine Photography

Hairstyles for little girls....

I don't struggle with her hair because she doesn't have much! She has such fine hair, we are eagerly awaiting her first tangle...that would mean her hair was thickening up! She longs for the day she can put conditioner and detangler spray in her hair. Oh, and she is also really vain She won't move a muscle if I threaten to leave her hair half done.

Thanks so much ladies. I will call the school psych on Monday. And Tina that is so horribly tragic about the car accident. I cannot even imagine. We have also talked to our children about what would happen if DH and I both passed away (and it is written into our will). Our kids would live with my very caring BIL and SIL in NC during the school year and spend the summers with my parents in the TN mountains, where we spend time each summer...

Rody bouncer
Published (2009-11-20 11:45:00)
We bought DD the Rody a couple of years ago . She loves to bounce. We got it along with the rocking base, which we only used a few times. I can't remember where I bought it, but I remember it being a specialty store. I just saw it in a cute little toy store here in town that sells all kinds of great things. You might want to check around. She is 3 now and still loves to play with it. _________________ Amy Lilybean's Mommy!

Oh how terrible!!! That poor child - I just cannot even imagine. I don't know what the right thing to do is, I only know what I would do & that would be to tell my DS. Mine is also 7 and I would just explain in very simple terms that Brian had a mom and unfortunately she died (my DS knows that people die and they talk about animals dying at school a lot as they're covering the animal - esp. bugs - life cycle extensively this...

Elizabeth, I was looking at the Jolts that you posted. So cute. I only found the Jalate leggings in black, as well. Delia's actually has a sort of cute pair in blue: http://store.delias.com/item.do?itemID=52098 But I don't like that you can't see whether they have pockets, etc. There are also these from Wet Seal, but they were too long on me and looked weird when I tried them on in store:...

I have 2 DDs, 4 and 2. They are your typical girls, playing well sometimes together and fighting over things. I am a SAHM and have been incredibly blessed to be so. . . my question is, my daughters DO NOT go to their father (even when he is home!). I mean, the man could be right next to them, but they will come asking me questions or crying to me about something (when I am upstairs, outside ...

So ladies, what type of styles of purses/handbags are you using these days? I have been trying to buy a purse for a few weeks with no luck. I want something lightweight, easy to care for and thinking maybe a tote in terms of style but I see everyone with satchels and "crossbody" styles right now.
Are the satchels comfortable to carry? Do they get heavy? What do you guys think of the...

I have a bunch of games already, but want a few recs to make sure I'm not forgetting anything DS "needs". Its mostly for the 6 year old, but the 4 year old is certainly allowed to use it (though he's still loving his Leapster).
So... what do you recommend? And if you were only going to get one Mario game, which?

Where is the best place to get a Rody? As I recall, this was the rave several years ago. I would like to get one for my 2 year old. Will this be okay for tile indoors and pavers on the back porch? Thanks!
Also, what kind of little shelves do you have for your kids rooms? I would like the "Collector's shelves" from Pottery Barn Kids, but I would not like to pay that price. Have you seen ...

Now that I have my cute flat boots, I need some skinny denim leggings to tuck into them! Prob is I'm preggo and can't find anything. I thought perhaps if I find something with an elasticized waistband that are super comfy I can just wear them under the belly and put a bella band on top? Juicy Couture has some cute ones, but they're about $100 for leggings. Seems kinda pricey. Looking online has ...

Hey Dorothy! We've been buying the Magic Treehouse as we go through them for DS1 and when DD is interested, I'm sure she'll read them. DS1 doesn't enjoy the Nate the Great as well so I don't plan to buy any more. I think it just depends on if your sons really like that series as far as buying. We'll be in trouble when DS finishes the Magic Treehouses b/c nothing else has quite stacked up. ...

DD is very much into braids! Of course, with her fine hair and flyaways, her hair is impossible to french braid, so I end up doing a whole ponytail, 2 ponytails, or even 1 or 2 smaller ponytails of the front of her hair...then I braid those. Her newest thing is me side-parting her hair, pulling the larger side up in a ponytail, then dividing that hair into 3 small sections and braiding the 3 ...

Okay girls I need advice.... I am 177 lbs of unhappy mommy! Before my 2 babies (aged 4.5 and 1) I weighed 119.... I can't seem to find the time to go out for and hour a day to work out alone so I bought the Wii Fit... just a waste!! I have tried working out with yoga tapes... but honestly I am just not very good at excerise. Before my babies I took Phentermine to lose weight, but now one ...

I am looking for some opinions / advice.
My DH and his siblings are planning a summer beach trip for my MIL's 60th birthday. We are looking at a beach house in the outer banks. I've never been, so while in my eyes, a vacation where I need to cook and clean up doesn't sound like so much of a vacation, I'm still keeping a positive outlook and looking forward to it. We have been going back ...
