Hi all, I've been working on an on-going photography project over the past few years that I wanted to share with all of you. I'm hoping you might
get a kick out of these. Although the idea behind this project is hardly original at this point, I have been keeping with it and have several more ideas in the works. I started doing photo recreations in college of all of my favorite films ...

THE RIP-OFF (1978) aka THE SQUEEZE - This Italian produced, NYC lensed heist picture is actually quite entertaining with a few nice twists. Retired safe cracker Chris Gretchko (
Lee Van Cleef) is lured to a job by the son (Edward Albert) of an ex-buddy. He flies to NYC and finds out he will be lifting $1 million in diamonds for a shady German group. It all goes smoothly until he learns that the...

Here is a thought that has been on my mind for quite awhile... Character actors. Are there any left? It seems that all of my favorite guys and gals have gone on to the big casting call in the sky; i.e. Sydney Lassick, Nancy Parsons, Pat Ast,
Nicholas Worth, Divine and many more. Luckily, a bunch of them are still around, like Dick Miller, Mary Woronov, Irwin Keyes, Don Calfa, Grace...

The Ryko Convention was last week in New Orleans. As many of you may already know, there was a hub-bub about Johnny Legend's LEGENDHOUSE release of Young,
Hot 'N Nasty: Teenage Cruisers , which somehow got into Best Buy. There was a complicated chain of events, but basically when the sales sheets were sent out (Ryko does a bound catalog, with video onesheets inserted and bound within...

Just thought I'd mention that filmmaker Robert Carl Cohen has made his films available on amazon as part of the amazon/CreateSpace site. The previously hard-to-see MONDO HOLLYWOOD is presented in a really nice looking 1.85:1 transfer. createspace: Robert Carl Cohen QUOTE 120 minute - 2005 digitally-enhanced "
Director's Cut." The underground cult classic documentary...

QUOTE (Adam Tyner @ Aug 25 2008, 12:25 PM) Speaking of Retrofantsama, they're showing Creepers and Demons in September. Durham's not exactly close, but I'm absolutely going to make that trek to see Demons in an actual theater. Since I'll be driving in from
across the border in Greenville, I obviously wanna make sure I'll be able to get in. Do they sell tickets in ...

I was poking around my OnDemand choices via
Time Warner and under the HD movies they have two separate titles: KUNG FU KILLER PART 1 and PART 2. Both are feature length and listed as being 2007 and star Carradine and Hannah. The plot info makes it clear it's not Kill Bill under different title-- it's more a generic description, but heck, I'm intrigued. There's nothing on the IMDB ...
