Yeah though mobile TV can easily be put in feature phones as well but you would expect it to be a market the iPhone would struggle in as it doesn't support it yet it's doing really well. Same as Japan, they have a good mobile TV system as well I think but the iPhone sells well there though Apple did have to add in Emoji for them. Ultimately the iPhone needs to be the jack of all trades and for as many countries as possible. Not...

Like FastLaneJB , I'm not sure if there's actually a market for yet another mobile platform in today's crowded smartphone space. It does take much more than a great UI/OS and hardware combination to be able to compete on the same footing as other existing smartphone platforms today, as evidenced by webOS which is IMO still struggling to really achieve success.

Is this ELSE just a platform maker, for others to buy/licence it? If yes then a dozen of korean handsets having this, man you've got a mass market product and obviously then enough developer support.

HTC Hero Android phone launches
TODAY
HTC has launched a brand spanking Android handset in the UK today, in the G1-esque shape of the Hero.
However, although it picks up the love-it-or-hate-it angled bottom of its predecessor, it boasts a much more slimline body due to no slide out keyboard.
We first heard about the Hero some time back in February, and after ...

nice one... a real "thumbable" touchscreen... lots of eye candy but intuitiveness, hmmm, iphone's ui or android or webOs are better imo... a single tap is all it takes to launch apps while in this thing you constantly have to lay your thumb in it obscuring some part of the screen but i guess thats the way it was created... wouldnt appeal to the masses i suppose...

They've returned to making Windows Mobile devices just as everyone else is jumping ship?
iPAQ's used to be the top Windows PDA devices however the specs of some of the current HTC devices are hugely impressive, they'll struggle to get back into this market I think.
