We did well on Purina Pro Plan. Switched to Eagle Pack, and we have definitely noticed less shedding. They're both in the lower $40s for the big bags.

Standard poodles were originally bred to be water retrievers. So I was walking some crp and we (dog and I) jumped this creek. I heard him yelp so i turn and his face is covered in blood. So i look at him some more and its coming out of his nose and he keeps making this sneeze noise evere five second. I'm a little worried. the bleeding stoped but will this affect his nose at all smelling wise?

We had a lab for 13 years and always fed her Eukanuba. It worked really good for and I would definitely recommend it. We just got a new pup and someone recommended Fromm's dog. We are going to give that a try and see how it goes.

Snag, great choice. I have a PP out of Cedarwoods! She was 18 months old this fall when we started hunting in earnest. She has had a phenomenal season. 2 duck trips to Canada, 3 pheasant trips to NoDak, so far. She has exceeded my expectations. If she continues to progress she is going to be something special.

Could you imagine steadying a poodle to the flush - then releasing her to "Fifi". It needs to be done! LOL.

A month or more ago on Kent Hrbek Outdoors, they were out in WI at a lodge that had only poodles to hunt behind. Kent & Erik claimed that they were amazed at how well they did. They were excellent hunting dogs. If I remember my history, back in the 1400's in England they were being bred to be a hunting dog.
