I don't own any yet either, but like you have been doing some research. I was actually just checking out their new stuff with Gore Optifade today. Nice but spendy. My old Browning Hydrofleece and layers of hand-me-downs are getting pretty seasoned.

Nice to hear that may be the case. It has not happened to often in my days of hunting but have you ever found a spot, sat there a couple times, put two and two together and feel you may have just found a honey hole? Not to mention there were 6 does and the buck that came thru on my first evening hunt in this spot. I think i have found such a spot but my fear is that i may have found it to late. That is why i ask if they will bed in the same...

I hope trigger was just kidding because that might be the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life if he believes this clown I,m pretty sure he was. Reading triggers posts on here he's got his head on straight. I think he was jabbing at me for a response I made on the gun forum under poached buck. All in fun I hope. I wrote that we should wait and hear the whole story before we condem him. Im glad the DNR is using all resources to...

Sat out on my stand from 8 til 1 and didn't see squat today. Got down and tried some spot and stalk, I ended up doing the stalking and the deer did the spotting! Kicked up three big does laying in the tall grass on the shoreline of a big pond. That was about the highlights for me!

Mission Menace comes to mind because of the short draw length, it's more of a youth bow (very adjustable, 17-30" draw, 17-52lbs) but for the price (around $250) it is a very nice shooting bow. Otherwise maybe the Mathews Passion has a draw length that short but I am unsure.

I can't speak on the main difference and I think for feel and touch of the Full Season stuff is great. For my two cents I wouldn't spend that kind of money on carbon scent control. Do a quick search on the internet for products with Silver in them. I have found that the companies using silver have some great stuff and it can be washed like regular clothes. Carbon has to be put into an ...

I'm not personally familiar with either you have mentioned but can offer up a third alternative of the Diamond RazorEdge. Great little bow that will back down half it's peak draw weight (30-60#). Very popular with youth & ladies alike. That being said, I've only heard great things on the Mission line as a whole so I'm sure the Menace would be a great option as well. He'll be thrilled with ...

You'll never get 'em sittin' on the couch. If I had tags left to fill, I'd be out there.

My dad has one of these cameras and from what Ive seen and heard from him
they are decent cameras for the price. If you are putting these on a trail
try to point them facing in the direction you think the deer are usually
going so it has a longer time to trigger. I have a few moultrie i40's and
use them in below zero temps and they are still going strong. The battery
life will go down quite a bit...

Thats a good question......with the does who weren't bred during the first rut coming back into heat, it might be? Dunno......I know that I read an article yesterday that said using a grunt tube will always work, and I thought it was only for pre-rut to rut period.

Awesome! But can I ask what made the Maxxis the clear choice? I shot both the Maxxis and the Afterburner and felt they were both great bows. My biggest problem was getting an actual "feeling" on how both shot for me, the Maxxis was too short to get the full feel of the bow, while the Afterburner had no sights or peep, so I was shooting instinctively. I liked each so much I started ...
