the 302 can be built to be a 347 stroker. depending on your axles and gearing a mild 302 or 347 could turn a 54" tire, but some here will tell you there is no replacement for displacement

I wouldn't waste money building a 302, if you spend the same amount of money building a 351W as you would to build a 302 you'll come out with alot more power out of the windsor.

You may be getting more help if you didn’t choose such a bold name. It makes a statement like you are only here for trouble. Just stating you have vortec heads and the lower end doesn’t give nearly enough info for anyone to help you. Since your running a 383 with vortecs, what pistons do you have and what fuel are you running? What parts do you have? What is it going in? What tires? Gears? ...

do you need that agressive of a tire for a street truck, or you just like the look? you could save money on allterrains or highway tires.

Yes but depends on where/when you need more or less fuel. First, the idle mixture has to be right, from there you can adjust the spring tension and the cam to tune the accellerator pump. Next is the jets. If it's running rich, go smaller, if it's lean, go bigger. Then there's the power valve, which adds fuel under acceleration. If you have a big cam, which will cause low vacume at idle and part ...

I had a four link with a pan hard bar. It work ok but if you hit a bump the body would twist cause my panhard bar was not completly horizontal and i had the panhard bars opposite of each other not a good idea. I am now going to a triangulated set up.

I had 6" softride leafs at both ends of my F250, I loved them. They weren't as stiff as the factory springs, and on the trail they had some killer flex. When I went to rockwells, I linked the front, and use 2-1/2 leveling coils for a 78-79 bronco. They are stiff enough to control the weight, but will still flex awesome. In combination with the 6" softride leafs in back, I can get the front...

Ive had both and you won't go wrong with either. They are all but infinitely buildable, almost indestructable (just remember to check the oil, lol). The best part is they are cheap to build.
