i just checked out some sites for myself to start uploading... it seems i don't need to upload anything again.. everyone else including people using "bubanee" as there own name.. cheeky.. do it for me.... so that leaves me with one option only, for the people who do download off me and don't want a fake... except for duplicate torrents there alright... and apparantly i have made torrents i've never seen before...

QUOTE (RiccardoNariz @ Nov 26 2009, 06:59 PM) Well, I will just fade back to the underground, where people like Mininova actually have a pair...a big pair, made of brass! The folks that run this have obviously either sold out, or crapped their pants in fear, or both. At least the folks at TPB had the huevos to stand up for what they believed in. Well Mininova, you will soon be Micronova, because you are going to be...

QUOTE (Writerpatrick @ Nov 28 2009, 04:12 PM) I've noticed that some of the files (mostly older ones) I've posted through CD have no seeds. I was trying to reseed them by recreating the torrent file but it doesn't seem to be working. I've tried recreating the folders but a re-check doesn't seem to recognize them. Download your torrent from mininova like any other user and when you open the torrent you...

I figured it out. It's not just that the files have to have the same name, but it seems that they have to be the exact same file. I was initially using a disk copy of the file but it didn't seem to like those (maybe the dates or something was changed on the disk version) so I downloaded the files from their podcast postings and used that version. It seems to be working now. I've re-seeded other things before but I thought that...

QUOTE (Mrs-G @ Nov 26 2009, 10:30 PM) What a strange thing for a Mininova moderator to say? H33t have always endorsed this place and Mininova is the top recommendation from them to help seed torrents. what part is strange to you? he said that their s/w section is not to be trusted - with very few exceptions of trusted uploaders- and having seen the evidence myself I'll agree. at least know what you're...

MKV isn't supported on most equipment. It's really only good for computers, not portable devices. Although it sounds like it the file could be using an audio codec not recognized on your WD equipment. You could try converting the file to another format.

portforwarding is something not too difficult. yes it's very much necessary if you want to max your torrent speeds. go to http://portforward.com/ .select your router and then select 'utorrent' or whatever your client is. they will give you a step by step mothod of opening your port. follow the instructions very carefully . good luck
