I saw a commercial for AT&T U-Verse that showed a disgruntled TWC Customer complaining that her All The Best Package had ended and that AT&T was offering Cable TV or wireless, and high-speed Internet for $80/mo and that it was not an intro price like TWC All The Best Package. I had a big cable jump from $175 to $200 after my All The Best Ended. To compensate, I plan to drop Showime and the ...

I was following it on the freeway today. It's not much bigger than any of the local news vans. But it is sure top heavy. It looked like it will flip over if the driver takes a turn too fast. It has the profile of those London double decker. I was afraid to drive next to it.

I was listening to Belling yesterday and he indicated that there were a lot of people who were given their Pink slips at the Journal Sentinel on Thrusday. I know that Tim Cuprisin and many others were offered a buyout a few weeks ago which he declined, but evidently not enough people took the buyout... I emailed Tim this morning but haven't gotten a response. The Journal Sentinel itself isn...

OK, I know someone out there will give me great advice on this, so don't let me down. I have a problem to solve...my mother works in one of the State Park nature centers. They have an auditorium with a bunch of VHS and DVD movies that they have available for visitors to watch. They have some money to spend (I think in the $500 -$1000 range) that they were planning to spend on updating ...

I guess the U-verse phone service is available now in Milwaukee... Its $40/mo unlimited, or $30/mo for 1000 minutes (or something like that)... The unlimited includes long distance, not sure if the limited plan includes long distance or not... I just ordered it up today, but my install date isn't until the second week in September (there were earlier dates, but that date worked out ...

A station in market 147 (that's 113 markets under Milwaukee) will get it's first HD Newscast next week. Meanwhile, in Market 34, we still have no HD newscasts. Like I said in the HD forum, one station was supposedly going to go HD this month, but I haven't heard anything new about that. Market 33 (Cincinnati) has one, and soon will have two stations with HD newscasts, and Market 35 (...

I just setup a slingbox here. The primary purpose is for my uncle in Japan to be able to get his sports fix and see the Maryland games. So far it seems pretty awesome but my testing has been limited to inhouse lan usage. Looking for some real world info and maybe some tests.

This is about as far off topic as I think I've ever seen posted here, but here goes: My wife and I would like to go the Summerfest grounds part of the 105th on Saturday. But when you buy tickets, it promises access to everything and throws in ton of promotional chotchkees that we're not interested in at all. Are these tickets all-access passes for everything all weekend or are there ...
