Hi, According to the troubleshooting suggestions you have tried, the possible causes have been narrowed down to the network cable and the ISP modem. If there are other computers on the same network, do they work normally? If there is no other computer can test the ISP modem, I would like to suggest you replace them to check the issue. Good luck!

Try disabling realtime protection in Windows Security Essentials I had the exact same issue on my Windows 7 64 bit install. After hours of searching to see what was causing the issue, I found that Windows Security Essentials was the problem. Internet started working normal again after disabling realtime protection. Since my internet worked just fine after just installing Windows 7, it's probably some update to security essentials that...

I'm not sure if it can help in your specific case, as I don't fully understand what you're trying to accomplish, but there's a nifty debugging tool called Fiddler that might help. http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2 -Noel

Use /persistent:no like this net use t: \\192.168.90.25\share /persistent:no I use the above line for NAS box mapping NAS has user / password accounts same as PC's login info so no need to pass user / password. You could also add the line at the start of the batch to clear the connection BEFORE mapping the connection.

Hi, First, I would like to confirm whether the issue only occurred when trying to expand RSAT tools. Did it occur when expanding other Administrative Tools? Here are some suggestions you can try: 1. Perform a Clean Boot to check the result. If the issue does not occur in the Clean Boot, we can use a 50/50 approach to quickly narrow down which entry is causing the issue. 2. If the issue persists in Clean Boot, I suggest you...

Sorry, I should have clarified our setup a little better. We are running a Dell blade server located in a Data Center. Within that Server we have four Virtual Machines Running: 1 Wiki, 2 Server 2003 and 1 Server 2008, all of which have static public IP addresses, i.e., 74.xxx.xx.xx. However, with NAT enabled they also have an internal private IP in the 10.xx.xx.xx range. While connecting via CISCO VPN client on my XP machine I could...

Does your wireless router have RJ45 ports for wired connections? if so, just get standard network cables, plug them in and have at it. It's at this point acting as a hub anyways.

Hi, I found the error code 633 from the above Event log. Based on my research, error code 633 indicates that the modem is in use or the port isn't configured. As it is a broadband connection, the broadband device that the network connection attempted to use may not be opened. Make sure that the required ...

It sound as if your VPN is setup to use the REMOTE gateway, if that is the case then the corp. firewall is blocking that traffic. As it is a corp. security issue you really should take it up with the corp. IT Dept. they may have a good reason to block those services.

Hi,
The wireless network connection issue can be caused by several reasons such as security program, network card driver, third party program and network settings.
To troubleshoot this issue, please refer to the following steps:
1. If any security program (firewall, anti-virus) is installed, I suggest temporarily disable it.
2. Download driver update ...

Then on the properties screen go to Power Management tab and unselect ...
