I have a Canon Scan Lide 500F, plugged on Windows Vista computer with the following driver: Lide500fvst11220a_xpen. On Canoscan Toolbox when I press SCAN the scanner makes the processing noise and a window comes up saying: "processing calibration data from the scanner (about 1 to 2 minutes required) do not open." About 3 to 4 seconds later a new window pops up saying: "Calibration can not be perfomed. Pull out the...

Have you installed the Windows 7 system successfully already? In my opinion, it’s better to reinstall the system according the steps in the following link. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Installing-Windows-recommended-links

Hi thawk-todd,   Please also try System Restore to restore the system to the date before the issue first occurred.   Also, did you try the " Fix it " in the link provided by Nikhil's? If not, please try it as well. Also, you can manually edit the registry key by the steps below:   Modify the Registry ============ 1. Click the Start Button, type regedit in the "Start Search" text box and then press...

What is the issue you currently have? If your build-in webcam does not work on your Mini Compaq 700ee computer? At this time, it is necessary for you to communication with  HP Support and make sure the following issues. 1. If your webcam has proper pixel to support as good as the requirements you expected? 2. If the issue began to occur since Windows 7 installed? 3. You'd better contact with HP and check if any chipset driver or webcam...

Hi James, Sorry, i probably mis-read you question.  I have been looking around for that kind of printer but no luck so far :( I thing Epson may have something like that but they are not specific about the hardware capabilities that i could see. Anyway, until you found what you're looking for, i'll keep searching for a solution! Cheers, Remi

I believe the MFC is connected via a USB port, right? If so, did you find the MFC3240C driver listed, stop and get out of the Add a Printer wizard.  You should then be able to connect the MFC, turn on the power, and Windows should find the driver.  Actually, it should have done this in the beginning if you had it connected and the power turned on.

It sounds like your graphics card driver is somehow corrupt on your PC.  Try uninstalling the AMD software suite completely, reboot, download the latest driver suite (v9.11) from your HD4850 manufacturer or AMD directly and install it again.  Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Win7 btw?  I have a HD4870 1GB installed (latest driver) on Win7 x64 with no problem.

I'm running a retail version of Windows 7 Home Premium.  I can't copy files of any large size to external USB storage drives.  The transfer stops and just hangs.  I also can't get my IPOD Touch to connect consistently and it always fails during the file transfer process.  I have seen alot of similar issues, but I've not seen a solution that works for me.  I tried downloading a fix that was ...

Hi Mark, Thanks for all your patience and regular updates with this issue they are appreciated.  I can confirm that (for my system anyway) the hotfix worked perfectly, installed without issue (although there were a few moments where the computer was slow on restart and boot when it slowed and looked like it would crash) and I'm now able to transfer files to/from my backup external hdd and my ...

You need software from Canon XTi.  I did not see any Windows 7 software for the XTi, but you can try the Vista x64  software.  If the Vista software doesn't solve your problem, then you will need to contact Canon Support and ask them for a solution.

I would check the NVIDIA site for a diagnostic tool to test the adapter and see if it's working - it sounds like hardware detection is telling you that the device may actually be defective.

I have been reading a lot of similar stories where people with NVidia cards are having BSOD crashes constantly.. Microsoft and NVidia you really need to fix this because my computer is pretty much unusable for the past few weeks now.  Any one have any fixes or ideas how to fix this problem? NVidia needs to correct the problem, not Microsoft!  There were similar problems with nVidia drivers ...
