Hi,   I also have COD6 installed on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and it works fine.   I would like to suggest you install the DirectX components which are not included in DirectX 11 from the following link first.   http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3   After that, you may try to start the game in Clean Boot .   If it still cannot work, I also would like to...

Hi,   You can try turning off UAC:   1. Click the Start Button, type "User account control" and press Enter. 2. When the User account control settings box appears, move the slider to Never notify. 3. Click OK.   If it does not work, you may need to consider a third party defragment program. You can also try the following method:   http://www.techmetica.com/howto/how-to-defragment-your-pagefile-in-vista/

Vegan, you are absolutely correct , that if a user is not capable of producing their own backups, they are better off to leave mail/contacts on supplier's server.  However, it should be pointed out that: a.   3 rd party email packages store all your mail in one file or folder, which can be backed up quickly and easily.   It doesn't require an Einstein, or even a geek, anyone can learn to backup their email b.   it doesn't...

Trying to run Office 2000 Service relase 1a produced an error message that it couldn't complete, referring to a text file that didn't seem to mention an error. It mentioned that IE 8 was installed instead of IE5, but went on from there, so it doesn't seem like that was what was wrong. I tracked down the full package (filename ...

himanshu_yadav, Did this issue occurs also on other Windows 2008 R2 machines? Or only on this box? You might want to run the System File Checker to see if the kernelbase.dll is maby corrupted. So, on your 2008 R2 box open an administrative command prompt. And type the following command: SFC /SCANNOW And also see that the windows 2008 R2 installation cd's are in the CD-Rom bay. Because if ...

I have exactly the same problem, but I'm using the RTM 7600.16385. This problem occurs in both the x86 version as the x64, I tried everything and so far I could not find the cause. At the moment I'm downloading the Virtual PC to see if I can solve this problem. Sorry to resurrect this old topic, but can not find many people with this same problem.
