So, uninstalling codesmith and typemock has helped (except I can't generate anymore). Although I still get some errors in the log file it now lets me "press OK" in the guidance package manager to enable WCSF and get some work done... Are these packages the "problem" (I don't think so) if they are is there an install order or something that I should be following to work with these tools? Should I...

See Windows Server Forums for general and specific forums dealing with Server 2008 R2 and previous versions. I can't seem to find any for IIS, specificly.  Maybe someone else can help you there.

I have Vista 64 and the OS load (done by Best Buy) contains both 32 bit IE and 64 bit IE.  64 bit IE works OK.  However, if I open 32 bit IE, either directly or via a URL from email (Outlook), the system opens BOTH IE applications simultaneously and locks.  Only way out is to kill both via Task Manager.  Any ideas how to fix?  Best Buy wants money to fix the problem I beleive they created. ...

The closet thing I can think of is the forum for Windows Live Toolbar at  http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w levents/threads . I vaguely recall it used to be part of MSN Toolbar.
