If this is Exchange 2003 or older, then you could create a rule in Outlook. If Exchange 2007/2010, you could create a transport rule. Note that auto-replies are generally a bad idea as they can lead to mail loops or get your org on blocklists responding to spoofed emails.

Make sure you have at least SP2 for Outlook ( You should also apply the latest post SP2 hotfixes: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975729 ) Then follow the instructions in this KB to enable caching of shared email folders: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955572 You cannot cache shared mail folders in Outlook 2007

Hi, In my experience, you cann't do the scanario. That means the forward mail from external email address is not possible. But I found it works if it is an internal email address.
