Welcome to the forum! In future can you put your question in the message box. Using the subject box cuts off the question and hinders web based answers. You can count the words in 2007. Go to the Office button Prepare Properties With the "Document Properties" dropdown choose "Advanced Properties" and then "Statistics" tab Regards John "Prabhakar Singh" Prabhakar

I am making a Power Point presentation for my employer, and I want to include the actual web page text and images exactly as it appears on the web, so I can show where the needed information is located on the page. I have tried using "Save as" in files and saved it using all the different formats, but is does not come out correctly on the PowerPint slide. Thanks

I am using PPT 2007 on my tablet. When I use the black screen or white screen option to write text, a big streak line appears to randomly pop up from the edges of some of the letter edges. If I don't lift the pen and just draw swirlies, these lines don't appear, but as soon as I try to write text, they pop up. Anyone know how to fix this problem??

Hi, is there any possibility to change the path to a video file in an existing presentation? For example: There is a slide with a video path (.../video1.mpg). Now I'd like to change the path to another file (.../video1.wmv.), so that all other animations remain the same. For pictures I can use the option "Replace Picture" (respectively "Bild ändern" in German). In this ...

I am having a weird issue here. I have a powerpoint file created in powerpoint 2000. There are no strange fonts or anything in this file. When I move the file to a computer running powerpoint 2002, it does not open the file properly, all the text has been moved slightly, or parts are cut off, spaces between paragraphs have increased. What is strange is when I do a file open, ...

I have a PPT 2003 user whose system is all of a sudden unable to display Arial Black regular text - it always italicises it. This does NOT happen in Word and other Office programs - only PowerPoint. We have reinstalled the .ttf and .otf font files for Arial Black, but to no avail. The same file will display normally on other PPT 2003 systems, so it seems to be something ...

Hi all-- A little background first...as part of a fundraiser each year we have a reverse drawing with about 500 names on a board. A name/number is called and that person is eliminated from the drawing. The last name(s) left get to split the money. I'm trying to print just the notes from my PP 2007 presentation. I don't want the slides. I'd also like to consolidate the notes onto a few pages; my presentation has 50 pages, and that will take a lot of ink to print them all out. The help file indicates that you can print just the note pages, but when I preview it it contains the slides as well and on individual pages with ...

I have a query in PowerPoint 2007 and Excel 2007. Quite often, I want to pick a colour that matches some already existing colour (perhaps created according to some pre-existing colour scheme). For instance, this might be to inset text in the same colour as a graph series or such like. It previous versions of office, if you selected an object (or a series or whatever) and went to ...

I have a document with a font called Subway in it. When I open this document in Power Point 2003, which doesn't have Subway, it substitutes the font so that it's readable. When I open the document in Power Point 2007 it displays gibberish. How can I set Office 2007 to substitute with a readable font?

I've been creating simple charts in power point (excel opens and I can create the chart and it looks great). Once I save the file and reopen the ppt file later, the chart is still there and looks correct, but I can't open the excel file to modify any data. When I double click on the chart and then click edit data, nothing happens (Excel does not open). Any ideas what I'm ...
