If you have a US keyboard, you don't need to remember all those codes. The accents for all the Western European languages have keyboard shortcuts built into Word. For an acute accent, type Ctrl-' (apostrophe) followed by the letter (l.c. or capital); for a grave, Ctrl-` (next to the 1 key); for a tilde, Ctrl-~ (shift-`); for the circumflex, Ctrl-^ (shift-6); for the dieresis/umlaut, Ctrl-: (colon); for the cedilla, Ctrl-, (comma)....

If the paragraphs can be identified, then it is certainly possible to apply the correct styles e.g. the following macro checks each paragraph and if a bullet or a number format is added to the underlying style, then those paragraphs are formatted with the List Number style. However I am unable to create the problem so I cannot check whether the solution posted here will work for you.....

USay, AFAIK there isn't a complete solution. You can certainly find and highlight all instances ALL CAP words. With a macro, you can even exclude the specific acronyms FBI and CIA, however excluding "like" acronyms is a different matter: Sub SratchMacro() Dim oRng As Range Set oRng = ActiveDocument.Content With oRng.Find .ClearFormatting .Text = "[A-Z]{2,}" .Forward = ...

Can I make a cross reference only with the number? I mean, all the options given in word 2007 include thinks like: "Figure 1", or "Figure 1: The name...", and I wanna to have only the number! I can erase the words in the cross reference, but then, when I wanna print it, word updates these spaces and the words show up again!

I would like to change bullet indentation but can't find where I can do it. Currently I am changing every bullet manually with the ruler, but I want to define a new bullet with the indentation I want. I tried the define new bullet dialogue box but it doesn't have indentation control. It only has controls for picture, font, symbol, etc., which I don't care about. Thanks.
