The following issues are preventing Windows from upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, complete each task, and then restart the upgrade to continue. For these items, make the following changes: Uninstall these programs. Open Control Panel and search for "uninstall a program". ZoneAlarm This is the error I get.

I have AVG free set to scan messages and such like in my windows LIVE Isn't there an antivirus that acts automatically to do such thing e.g. as Norton antivirus scans work in Yahoo? It seems to me only fair that windows LIVE should scan incoming mail and attachements After all they do go on about sevurity all the time! thanks Hope for an answer soon! i just got hit with a virus. i can't get rid of it. it disabled my AVG. Check your email account settings - contact your ISP for the proper settings for your account. One hint - SMPT is wrong, it has to be SMTP and it needs to include your ISPs server name there, as well as the other information they provide. -steve
