Hi, Sounds like you have at least 1 of your cells as text. Try put 1 in a spare cell and then copy it. Select your date range and use PasteSpecial+Multiply to force text to values. Hi, The data is allready rearranged to the maximum possible, and that's was no 5 minute job! What I have found is the problem is when two named ranges are used (it works with just one). Named range one contains week 32-42 - let's call it "w32_42". Named range two contains week 43-53 - let's call it "w43_53". When this is entered in graph's range:...

I have a table with a chart alongside that is neatly tied to it.
I now want to duplicate this chart / table pair multiple times on the same
sheet so I can change the table data and get unique charts. I select all the
rows that contain the table / chart pairing then copy and paste them down
below. I now have a new "table 2" and a new "chart 2"- however the new
"chart 2" is still tied...

There are innumerable examples on the internet showing how to use names
as your chart source data. See for example:

http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/Dynamics.html
What is probably leading to your error is using just the name, without
referencing its parent worksheet or workbook. For example, the name

If you don't want to format each point separately, your best bet is to put
each point in as a separate series. I don't think that the wizard will do
this easily for you, so you'll need to add them a series at a time.

You cannot have conditional functions within a Solver model
So the problem seems to be the IF statements

Double clicking is broken in 2007 charts. Such a fundamental behavior.
Right click on the axis, choose the Format item in the pop up menu, and
see what that gets you.

I have 2 sets of data, Both have an x-axis that is a date and time (12/7/2009

Hi,
I have a weekly weekly data set that is the basis for a trend graph for one
year. This works ok until about the 16th week, then I get "Series formula is
too long".
It seems the use of named range is the only way around this...?
I have tried this, looked through previous posts and replies here, but this
does not work for me. It seems only applicable to very simple data sets and...

Hi,
If you hide the column manually it will still be displayed in the chart.
Because the chart is liked to the pivot table.
If you hide the column via the field filter the information should
disappear from the chart.
Cheers

I am new to Excel 2007 (moved from Excel 2003). I have a chart with one
column on the primary axis and a line on the secondarry axis. I added a
second series of data on the primary axis and can't find it. This usued to
happend with my previous edition of Excel and was quickly remedied by putting
the cursor on the horizontal line until I found it. Is there another way to

I have a series of values associated with dates; the values in the past are
fact, the values in the future are estimates. When I graph the data, the
line is all the same color throughout the series. Is there a way to have the
color of the line change as the dates become past, rather than future....
in other words, the line is black through todays data, but turns to red from
