You haven't really provided enough information to get focused help. However, I suspect that your computer is infected - probably with one of the many rogue security programs. Start your troubleshooting here: Go through these general malware removal steps systematically - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware Include scanning with David Lipman's Multi_AV and follow instructions to do all scans in Safe Mode....

Add/remove is not working on mcafee
Published (2009-11-20 22:39:00)
I have been having major problems with all my software from Mcafee so I decided to remove it alltogether.  Only I can't.  I go to add/remove and find the Mcafee Center and click on remove.  the screen blinks then does nothing. None of the mcafee software will run,  and I cannot get any response from them about it.  Now I just want to take it off and I can't.   Any ideas???? 1 person needs an answer I do too

I've tried logging out/in, restarting and looking in other folders, but can't work it out. Any ideas? ...
