i contacted acer web support and they told me that my warranty is expired so the couldn’t give any assistance not even aan dvice i tried to chat with the live chat support and they told me coz am not in the us or Canada so good bye we cant help you ... really cant believe that .. What kind of support is this guys really really don’t recommend acer at all ... you will buy it and you are on your own any new ideas i will be...

i have the same problem.. i think Loretta's problem is not the usb drive, i think its the usb ports which became Not recognize time to time.

Go tom the setup page on your router or ADSL or cable gateway + router, depending on your setup. Make sure you are using settings for your wireless card that match the settings in the router. Tom

Thanks again Mary.  All your suggestions were good but none worked for me.  I will be contacting Microsoft Support to see if they can fix the problem. Once again you responces were all great and I do appreicate your time.  I will let the forum know if I get this thing going or not. Best regards and thanks everybody for your input and suggestions. Uninstall and reinstall it? Go the the HP printer's website and get a new driver from it.

its from the installation CD that came with the graphic card. its an ASUS. Still, i tried installing it again with the driver from the nvidia website. same problem lol T_T

A: Drive Disk Cleaner Accident

I checked all the connections and still it comes out drive a: is unaccessable. I tried formating a real disk and that stopped as unable to format. While I was writing this I tried Fix-It 5 (old program) registery fixer and Drive a: came back, maybe it was your idea that worked it's way. We'll see if it holds out. Thanks

I guess that might depend on where you obtained your new drivers; 1) From some unknown web site 2) From your motherboard maker 3) from your laptop maker or large OEM, eg Dell /HP 4) MSUpdate And whether Device Manager shows your sound device as having a problem. Also whether your PC is clear of malaware And whether you have run the system file checker

If MSUpdate has been run you should now be on sp3 By backup I assume you actually mean create a restore point? or restore to an earlier date? What is the actual problem with the PC, that you need to restore to an earlier date?

Accidentally clicked yes format disk with a disk cleaner in drive a: and now I can't access A: even after I replaced the drive. Did I short out that circuit on my mother board or corrupt the IQ address? 1 person needs an answer I do too
