Outlook versions earlier than 2003 aren't compatible with Windows 7.  If you have Outlook XP or earlier, there's no solution to that problem.   :-(

Hi RWalsh98072, The majority of connection problems within Windows 7 have been solved by installing the latest driver for the network adapter obtained from the manufacturer.  Try to download Windows 7 compatible drivers if the manufacturer provides them. If not, try Windows Vista drivers and contact your OEM for any update on the driver.     Make use of the Compatibility Center ...

Should be simple. Set WEP in the router by logging on to it 192.168.x.x. Try and connect with the laptop and it should ask you to set the WEP in the wireless connection. If they match an internet connection should take place.

You can stream recorded TV but not live TV. See http://blogs.msdn.com/e7/archive/2009/05/12/media- streaming-with-windows-7.aspx . This third party add-on http://www.asciiexpress.com/webguide/  would work for Vista, but is not compatible with Windows 7.

If your computer is having problems connecting to the Internet, or to other computers on a network, try using one of the networking troubleshooters to fix the problem.   You can run the Network troubleshooter first to see if it can help diagnose and solve your problem. I have downloaded the latest WN111 drivers from Netgear and installed them. I have set up the adapter with a static IP address. Make a user account and password on the server and other machines which matches the one on the Windows 7 computer and you will be able to use domain resources. Unfortunately, since Windows 7 Home Edition cannot join a domain you will always get the initial prompt for credentials. If this is a problem, upgrade to Windows 7 Professional and join the computer to the domain.

I don't think that firewall settings or the settings on the W7 computer are causing the problem.  It's the settings on the XP computer. On XP go to Control Panel > Classic View > Folder Options > View , scroll to the end of the Advanced settings , and look at Use simple file sharing (Recommended) .  If simple file sharing is enabled (the box is checked), open a command prompt...
