If the error comes up as "Cannot create a file that already exists", it means the CSC folder is still there. Perhaps you deleted only the contents and left the empty folder? Ah! Correction: Sorry, the command I suggested was del , should have been rmdir to "remove directory". Try: rmdir /s /q %SystemRoot%\CSC Equally, you can do it in Windows Explorer by pointing to the \CSC folder, right click and select...

Right, so you select a parent folder above them and perform the actions on the whole kit and kaboodle. If all those folders are not in a parent, put them in one. Glad I could help!

Sorry, here's what showed up: control panel then folder options then view then Uncheck-always show icons, never thumbnails then Apply then okay I know little about computers or forums, so, sorry again. the key was the 'uncheck' I did. Steve Marked As Answer by skopskald 16 hours 40 minutes ago

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand your post - Are you saying that you can't find the Color/Settings directory or that you found it but can't change anything in it? If the former, contact Adobe tech support to find out where this setting is in Windows 7. You could also post on the Adobe support forums.

It doesn't sounds good... if the trouble occurs that means that these applications are trying to change something inside that folder. Should they do this? I don't think so... System is protecting itself against something which may be harmful. You are administrator, but.. when you are running some applications or you are trying to change folder properties you are doing it as a User, not ...

When I installed Windows 7 I created seperate partitions for OS/program files & data. When I enabled Offline Files it stores those files on the smaller OS/program partition which is filling it quickly. How do I get Win 7 to store the Offline Files on the larger data partition? Right click on the file or folder you want to access and select Properties then Security and add your user name and give it the level of control you want.
