The sus. cop Bryant?? had two other cops with him and he seemingly overpowered them and they were writhing on the ground with their hand cuffed behind their backs, when Derreck ran off.

I still believe that HUGO is, in fact, working undercover for the Federal Police. He knocked out Charlie to protect her and now that Martha has been kidnapped things aren't looking too good.
Angelo being after Hugo all this time thinking he was the baddie would be a perfect way for things to get really hairy.

Following Angelo's declaration of love to CHarlie. Charlie confesses to Angelo she had a son and asks him to keep it a secret. Angelo then goes and tells Ruby, and it then comes out that she never had a son, but a daughter, and Ruby is her daughter!!
Doesn't bode well for ANgelo 1) Charlie couldn't confess her true secret 2) Angelo couldn't keep it a secret even though CHarlie asks ...

lucky: Am I the only one that doesn't like Saskia Burmiester for a re-cast? Sure, she looks like KB but their on-screen presence is drastically different. SB has a tendency to go OTT hysterical and shrill, and that wouldn't be in keeping with Joey's character at all.
