Since posting this, it was discovered that Rose had an insulinoma on her pancreas. She had a 7 hour oprertion to remove this 4 weeks ago. They removed her spleen and found somrthng on her liver which they are sure came from the cancer on her lung. We are still waiting for biopsy reports, but if it is the Salivary Gland Type Lung Cancer again, I fear the worst as it is probably in her ...

After five rounds of Cisplatin & ? chemotherapy my oncology department has called off further chemo because CAT SCAN showed continued growth of poorly differentiated carcinoma on my liver and possibly lymph nodes. I would like to hear from someone with first hand information on making progress against this.
