Nash & Horford for LeBron?
Published (2009-12-22 02:13:00)
If you're winning, I would stick with the current roster. I would say Nash + Horford for Lebron is close to even, but in all honesty would prefer to have Nash + Horford in a 12 team league since the waiver options aren't very attractive. Giving up Pierce + Nash is way too much for any single player (even Lebron), since both of them have been playing like 2nd rounders.

Can you tell me if any of these trades might work? I'm trying to get rid of weaker links of categories I'm hurting in, so I feel like I need to give more to get what I need. My league isn't trading too much these days, so I need some good offer ideas. I'm trying to build my FG%, FT%, and threes. Thoughts? 1. I give Artest and Westbrook for Mayo 2. Westbrook for Conley (I really hate Westbrooks FG%.) 3. Westbrook for Jason...

Speights or Pryz?

If you're in a keeper I think it is a no brainer pick up.

Chandler or Millsap
Published (2009-12-21 15:05:00)
I have Tyson Chandler who has been playing well lately but am thinking of dropping him for Paul Millsap because I need to fill a roster spot tonight and Utah has a game. Is this a good move? If the Jazz trade Bozzer i'm sure Millsap's stock will go up, but with Chandler getting more minutes now will his production hold up?

Nash & Horford for LeBron?
Published (2009-12-21 23:58:00)
LoL...exactly my worry: Why mess with a good thing? My waiver wire consists of: Hawes Hibbert Miller Hinrich Ridnour Barbosa Chalmers Prince I was planning to pick up Hibbert and give him another chance. Does trading Pierce instead of Horford ruin this deal in your eyes?

Melo/Aldridge or CP3/Bynum

Kidd for Josh Smith
Published (2009-12-18 16:37:00)
thanks for the input, that was basically my thinking when I proposed the trade. I'm assuming that if Redd or Martin come back even close to what they were pre injuries I could trade one of them or Gordon for an assist guy and if they don't then hopefully Nash can keep me in the top half of my league for assists (Kidd basically kept me 6th overall in assists by himself). I haven't figured out my next move but I doubt I'm...

Drop Chalmers or Hawes for...
Published (2009-12-20 20:22:00)
Roto league, 10 team, 9 cat, 15 man rosters (11 active, 4 bench). Both Hawes and Chalmers are currently on my bench. I am reasonably healthy right now so they don't need to play. So, I am not looking for immediate production, but more season long production. Who is the best option? Keep in mind, I do have Brand starting. Thanks.

Wow, that's a pretty good team for a 12 team league....looking at your team I can't really see where this trade will hurt you. Ast's your good, rebounds your good. Who's on the wire?
As far as I can see I would do this trade. But if your already winning, why mess with a good thing...

Its tough to say without knowing the league format or your team.
You lose threes here and Bynum is hurting with Pau in the lineup. With his lack of production and injury concern, that would worry me too much.
Please help with mine..

You have a very good team here. My advice would be to try and package a few
players together for a player like Josh Smith, David Lee, Antwain Jamison,
Joakim Noah, These are just examples of the caliber of player. Send off a 2
or 3 for 1 deal and pick up Duhon or Dampier or Ersan. I would either find
someone interested in Iverson right now while his ceiling is still very
high. Also finds someone ...

i'm curious about him as well. he's on waivers atm in my league but i'm
hesitant to pick him up as my roster is pretty solid. watching him closely
right now as houston takes on detroit.

It's because he played against a small and fast paced warriors lineup.

Hmm.. CP3 is the best fantasy player, but Bynum's #'s are decreasing a lot with Pau back.. While Roy and Aldridge are gonna get better #'s due to injuries on the Blazers..
I wouldn't do it

Both have been playing really bad lately, so it would be hard to get decent value. They are both borderline waiver material in standard leagues. I was able to unload Marion earlier in the season in a package deal, but Diaw has been in and out of waivers for our league (10 team roto).
Maybe try packaging them together for a mid-tier player?

I wouldn't do any of those deals, but you have to expect if you put a
message up your gonna get some garbage deals. Don't get offended, just send
them back a counter offer that you know they won't take and hopefully after
3 or 4 proposals each you can find something you like.
