These are very much VIN sensitive. I sent a PM reply to one particular car, but won't post the results here in case the explanation confuses someone else's application. It's confusing enough for the best of us.

I've read through the MB shop manual, wheel section - Group 40, and noted that generally MB specifies 6.5" 14" alloy rims, but for the 15" alloys the R107 has to have them in 7" widths? I think I read the entire section and the only 15" alloy rim - this is the "new style" flat faced alloy rim with the 15 vent holes - is to be: 7J x 15 H2, with a 25mm offset. MB PN 126 400 22...

I am the original poster and I think I have figured it out. This morning it was cold here, about 15 degrees C (relatively - eat your heart out Wisconson). The car started right up but would not come off of high idle when I started to drive it. Performance was nill - whenever I hit the accel it just did not respond and almost died. When looking in the EPC, please note that the L and R in the"Version" column refers to Left hand drive or Right Hand drive (like in the UK), NOT the left or right wiper.

Taking it apart is a big pain. Cleaning it is easier. Take it out of the car (just undo the hose clamps and it comes out) and flush it out with lots of brake cleaner. Be sure to do this outdoors...probably even better to do it outdoors using a product like Wurth Brake Cleaner which is much less hazardous than other brake cleaners).

Hi - Looking for the flasher relay (000 821 10 63 or 000 821 09 63) in a 1985 500SL Euro (Grey market) ...looked under steering wheel (found intermittent wiper relay) and behind radio...Turn signals work, but not Hazard - trying to replace this relay - Thanks for any assistance -
