No, no NHS funding I'll have a look around for courses I can do part time for now. I'm really loathe to becoming skint again to be honest. So, my nutrition advice sh*te will be poured out onto these boards for now

does dieting make you tired?

Quote: You've very little carbs there, i'd be tempted to have a wholemeal wrap or two with your lunch. More fruit, drop the coke and have a peice of fruit and more nuts. Plenty of water. Thanks for the advice guys. Its hard to drop the coke as i'm addicted to it and have a can a day. I'll replace that with water though. Maybe thats it? Also was trying to eat less carbs and realised I might be missing out carbs altogether....

6 weeks to lose weight and get fit
Published (2009-11-26 22:32:00)
Hi there - there is no BEST METHOD - there are only methods which suit certain individuals best. The main pointer I'd like to offer is that fat cannot be lost sustainably (and without considerably muscle wastage) in quantities larger than 1 kg weekly. So in 6 weeks you should 'only' expect to lose 6kg - no matter how you do it . Losing fat faster than I have suggested is pointless - you may weigh less on the scale if you do so,...

Benefits of Green Tea
Published (2009-11-26 09:48:00)
Green tea has benefits. Trust me ive travelled china, and seen men and women 90+ years of age dancing in the park happy as anything. There secret? green tea. Only thing is you can only notice the difference after 2-3 years its a long term benefit. Also what green tea are you having? go to the Chinese herbal store and buy the best quality tea and brew it. The rubbish that you buy from supermarkets are usually from normal tea plantations that...

You will benefit by introducing some HIIT cardio to replace your current cardio sessions. Also, try switching the wholemeal roll for a healthy tortilla, snack on hard-boiled eggs (or any pure protein source), good before bed as well. You should modify your training routine once every 6 weeks to shock your muscles so introduce some new moves. You need to bare in mind that the majority of ...

Hi there Exercise is exercise - if your muscles and heart are challenged sufficiently you will get the benefits. I don't think your suggestion will generate enough intensity - for a few reasons. Please see below: Using a punching bag - if you have no training in combat sport - is risky. You probably wouldn't have asked the question you've asked if you realised that punching is as much about ...

I've got a rebounder and it's excellent for cardio. It has less stress on your joints, brill for lymphatic system, strengthens lower back and I burned a decent 600 cals in 40 minutes.

You could use a bioelectrical impedance machine to give you a body fat percentage reading, although these can be very inaccurate, the best way in which you could do it would be to a skinfold test. For that you would need some skinfold calipers. Some infomation about it: http://www.topendsports.com/testing/tests/skinfold s.htm I'm sure if you google it you would find alot more infomation ...
