Surprisingly there isn't a thread for Big Russ, he's
the last American toreach the fourth round at Roland Garros, he did so in 2000 before losing a2 sets to love lead against the eventual champion, Gustavo Kuerten. Russhas since had many injury problems and is now looking like he's returningto form with a win in Bronx Challenger this past week. He had manyimpressive wins this year including wins ...

It's about time this kid got his own thread. He just qualified for his first ATP tournament in Houston, beating
Phillip King (rank 353) and Alex Reichel (rank 1014, although he has been much higher). In January he made it to the semifinals of the Australian Open junior tournament. He's only 15, and according to his ITF bio is 5'7" and only 120 lbs! Anyone ever see him play? It looks like he'...

I see there isn't a thread for the American Ivo. 6'9 former Georgia Bulldog with a huge serve. He was the NCAA singles
runner-up this year. I wasn't too sure about his pro prospects but he won a $15,000 Futures event last week as a WC. I read that he is trying to qualify for Newport next week and might even receive a WC. He will then play Aptos after that. It'll be interesting to ...

Jim is down three spots in the rankings to #40. He is no longer in the race, with any partner.

Now ranked 33 (doubles ranking) he is such a nice guy, so i think he deserves to have his own cheering thread Quote: PERSONAL Began playing tennis at age five with his father, Tim, who is manager of Rochester Tennis Connection, a club in Rochester, Minn. Has one younger brother Jeff (born July 23, 1984) who played two years at
St. John's Univ. in Minnesota...

Brendan is in the second round of Beijing this week and now plays Roddick. It's time for Brendan to really work hard and push for the top 100. He was a guy who was thought to maybe be the next
great American, got a huge deal with Nike extremely young, and hasn't lived up to it yet. Now's a good time to start.

Young isn't done with juniors, apparently. He's entered the
Wimbledon Junior Championships. He'll have as good a chance as anyone to win it, but he'll have to get through a tough draw to do it since his ranking has dropped so far while he's played in the pros.

I think it's about time this 17 year-old from Brandon, Mississippi got his own page. He just reached the
semifinals of the USO junior tournament after having to go through qualifying. He has beaten three seeded players along the way, including Bernard Tomic, the Australian phenom who won the Australian Open junior tournament and seeded second here. Britton is 6'4" and I believe he does a...

Jesse's another upcoming
young American (19), I think he's got the most potential after Querrey. He's pretty much worked his way up the rankings through his own merit without any wildcards or such. He qualified for Newport last year and lost in a tight match to Bogdanovic and made the finals of Kalamazoo before having to give Young a walkover. This year, Jesse qualified for Delray beating: Q1...

Good luck to Justin in Delray. He plays Udomchoke ( spelling off I am sure).
