Jay, Great find. The rocks are pretty also. Did you try and cross the pipe? That rock that is orange and green reminds me of radioactive rocks from the desert of Utah around the Thomas range. Joe D.

Well Jim Idon't have any Tsavorite's laying around so I may be safe! If you have any and are scared to own them I an keep them here for you but if I see anyone heading for the house with a spear they can have them all!! Tom K.

Hey Joe, Mine came the same as yours.They must have changed what they send due to costs. I use my light and magnifying glass all the time.It really helps to see the scratches which gives the optimum shine. I also bought the trim saw attachment but it wasn't attached for very long! I HATE attachments so I built a separate trim saw out of it. I replaced all of the wheels some time ...

Hello Mike, From the photo it appears the crystal is showing a combination of two crystal forms, not twinning. The dominate (larger) form present is the dodecahedron, a 12 face form common in garnet. Look for the diamond shaped faces. The second form present is the trapezohedron, a 24 faced form also common in garnet.
