lol i know, i was surprised the first timei turned them on, all i could do was laugh so far ive had them on for 2 nights and i already got the high beams flicked twice, seems they are brighter then the blue, i dont think i even got flicked with the 10000K when i had them but i drove tonight, and there was some thick fog out, the yellow just cut through the fog and barely any light reflected back at me, it was amazing

OK, I have to ask....Did he adjust the hex nut out for the new pad thickness then adjust it in where it is just close to rotor enough to self adjust when going in the street and jamming on the brakes while going backwards? Or did he adjust it where it seemed right without doing the back up thing in the street? If the latter, then it may be too tight & not letting the pads have room to back off the rotor when foot is off pedal.

I have changed belts on other cars without changing the water pump, but that was years ago when the belts were changed at 60k miles. Never had to change the water on them later. I did have a Isuzu PU that had a water pump leak when the belt was changed. I replaced the water pump with an Advance Auto pump and it was leaking again in 30-40 k miles.

the lenght of the shifter itself is about 1 1/4" shorter, what I would do is order one that is the same size as STOCK. as I never changed out the boot and it worked just fine.

www.Rock-Auto.com or www.onlinemazdaparts.com for OEM bushings.
www.protegegarage.com for aftermarket urethane bushings.
Protege garage is a verified vendor on this forum. They have their own section on here.

someone did do this for an autoX setup. I believe the consensus that a small spacer up front and heavy rear fender rolling was required. maybe spacer in back too, I didn't pay much attention... SORRY! lol

I suggest you look into the Suzuki SX-4.
It has both AT and MT, AWD is standard.

Rod bearings might be shot. If so its a ticking time bomb...
But... Valve train is pretty noisy in the fs-de. But you've never heard this noise before? Or its just much louder now? A small exhaust leak will lead to your valve train being heard much more easily. Do you hear it more as you gas harder? Or is it constant based upon RPM?

Every shop manual I've ever read calls for using high-temp brake grease on the caliper slide pins.
What is he using the copper anti-seize on? And why is he putting anything on an already- rebuilt caliper?
