I think they have a good department. State Job with State benefits plus educational benefits!! Opportunity to make rank, pay is so so but same as everywhere else. The Officers try to make the best of it and keep a sharp appearance. Pretty squared away station and equipment, great patrol vehicles, as for cop toys they have leaps, breathalyzer, Mass crash forms on computer and bunch of other good stuff. Apparently Chapter 90 is all that matters...

Does anyone know if you have a bachelors degree, part time academy, and are SSPO sworn for the DOC if you have to go through the 17 week academy? Any more info on this department would be helpful. thanks
