I am in Old Trafford, Manchester on Sept 27, 28 and Nov 1,2 for continuing ed... Suggestions for reasonably priced lodgings and possibly somewhere to get a workout in the evenings... I practice kung fu but I have some limited judo/wrestling background as well. Cheers, powchoy

Which form of Romanizing the Chinese language do you prefer? If you favor Pinyin, you talk about taijiquan, xingyiquan, and gongfu practitioners in Beijing. If you favor Wade-Giles, you talk about t'ai chi ch'uan, hsing i ch'uan, and kung fu practitioners in Peking.

I'm looking forward to the Paralmpic events starting this weekend. Openining ceremony will be on Saturday 6th, and coverage will be on BBC1 1250-1630. Unfortunately thats as about as much coverage as we will get, unless you have the magic "Red button" then you will only get an hour coverage on BBC2 a day 1900-2000. I believe there should be as much coverage of thise then the Olympic ...

Which beer or liquor is most associated with your style and/or practice group? I'm mainly curious about the viewpoint of the Occidentalist martial arts reconstructionists (Historical European Martial Arts practitioners), but I certainly wouldn't mind hearing vodka recommendations from the Sambo/Systema guys out there.
