Hi CloudHandz, Cheers for the advice about the name but I want to keep it 'as is' for various reasons. It is open to various jokes I know, but something of the uniqueness of the name reflects the uniqueness of the philosophy which is the foundation of Shhhhh. I did not want to use a word from any particular language or culture as the Shhhhh martial art is concerned with the universal...

Just wanted to start a thread about the sort of injuries you have received specifically from martial arts training. I'm interested because i have read a few threads around and i've noticed that some injuries are more pronounced in some arts than others. Format: MA training time Injuries: MA - Injury + Cause + Time before you started training again I'll start to get the ball ...

Greetings all Apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum, but I have been looking for some info on Tai-Jitsu but can't find this particular MA listed in the Styles section. Is it incorporated in any of the other styles, and if not, anyone know where I can get some info on it such as techniques and differences between it and JuJitsu? Thanks everyone in advance.

Hey everyone! I'm new here, but been in martial arts for 18 years. I run a taekwondo school and we use cool music regularly in our classes. And then of course demonstrations we always look for something unique. I've got a list of over 150 techno type songs that we use, and looking for more. If you know of some good ones thats not on my list, post it. Here is my list: http://www.airsoft-x....

What style do you train in, and what styles do you study, and what styles do you actively study? What I mean is, if you are say a Black belt in Shotokan, and actively go and train in a Shotokan school. I would refer to that as training in Shotokan. Now if at the same time, you are working with say some eskrima or Sambo leg locks, studying from tapes and books I would refer to that actively ...

When we started out for the second year at school, I noticed a lot of bad people have started on the school. Two days ago a guy I've seen working close to where I live started at the school I go to and we have said hello and goodbye etc. when I have shopped there. But now he pushed or slammed me with his shoulder into mine while he was walking. This wasn't the usual shoulder against the shoulder...

A new student comes to class, most likely not wearing a Gi. You get introduced and maybe talk a bit during some of the class. They seem like an OK person.
