It may, but consulting a doctor allows you to have a pro's opinion, and if the derm thinks it necessary, he can prescribe drugs and suggest products adapted for you. I think you can try it once and see what comes out of it.

What do you think of Kiehl's?
Published (2009-06-30 14:43:00)
i LOVE LOVE LOVE Kiehls. Their products are really gentle yet effective. I've used the Amino Acid with Coconut oil right after I had the Keratene perm and needed to use a low acid shampoo. It was great! I also use to lip balm with spf in pear flavor, and I love how it keeps my lips moist without being sticky!

Eczema Home Remedies?

I don't know a lot about eczema Rosie. I was reading up on it and the two things I learned is that the skin needs to by very moisturized and the itching has to be controlled so you don't make the irritation worse. My derm says that wetting the skin and then rubbing a thin film of vaseline over the damp skin, is a good way of moisturing. I don't know if that would benefit your skin or not. I googled monistate and eczema and...

Exfoliator for dry skin

For face the baking soda will be much gentler but I find my dry skin tolerates a fine sugar scrub. I just mix a bit of sugar into honey to form a paste. I have pretty dry skin and found the major savior was getting away from commercial cleansers. Now I use melt and pour emu oil soap base that I buy online. I add additional emu oil to it when I melt and pour into molds. I keep it unscented and find it cleanses gently without stripping my skin.

I don't know the conversion but I've ordered a 110g tub. I thought it might smell but I doubt it'll bother me, I know what it is made from, I can't expect it not to smell. hehe. Where do you get yours from?

The following information comes from various article written by Paula Begoun: Skin discolorations and scarring caused from wounds of any kind, particularly the marks left over from blemishes, are very difficult to deal with. These skin blotches are very different from the brown spots caused by sun damage/ melasma or hormones/ chloasma. Skin-lightening products containing ingredients - ...

I have tried everything under the sun and back for skin care. Anti-aging skin care and deep moisturizing. I still stick with my Distinct Face Lift set (Leigh Valentine)...love that and have used it for years. I'm 49yrs old and have no sagging of the facial skin. The Avon Anew chemcial peels and also Avon's dermabrasion is awesome! Either that, or Mary Kay has a really good ...

Had to tell everyone because this never happens. Re Vive is actually having a promotion. I personally think Re Vive is the best skin care out there because it actually gives the results it promises. Anyway, when you buy Moisturizing Renewal Cream you get a FREE Sensitif Cellular Repair. When I called, the customer service girl told me it was a .5 oz jar. Pretty awesome considering its ...

Hi all. I'm new here! I've just bought a load of stuff from emu-oil-well.com I'd never heard of it until then and I wondered if it was any good. Reading up on the website it looks as if it might do wonders for my dry, sensitive skin. I'm curious as to whether anyone has used it, I'm getting it for the anti-aging and moisturising properties. And it's all natural *happy dance* Ooo ...

I recently got a sample of Kiehl's hand protection stuff, which I really liked, and along with that, a voucher to try a few samples of their products. while I was getting my samples (the amino shampoo, the extra strength conditioning rinse with coconut, and the abbysine spf facial stuff) I was looking at some of theother products, and I smelt their limited edition scented lip balm in Mango....

AAA Shea Butter Company Ok, I don't post often, but I just need to let everyone know that this cleanser ROCKS! plus it's liquid, so it's a lot easier to use. So far, it has really smoothed my facial skin and helped heal acne scars and clarified everything. Much better than my normal salycitic acid cleanser. It's not too drying for me, either. It smells a little weird...but you get over ...

Perricones advanced face firming activator! This stuff is magic in a bottle! All the red marks on my face are fading and my skin is smooth, soft and tight with hardly any visible pores after only two days! I am seriously in love even though this stuff is extremely expensive but you only need one pump for the entire face!

I am looking for a good and inexpensive face moisturizer with SPF that isn't too greasy? I am on a budget right now but need to moisturize so any help with a product would be greatly appreciated. Drugstore brands are fine too!

Are there really any moisturizers out there that are non greasy and contain spf? I haven't found any so right now I have to use my moisturizer and then apply shiseido spf. I'd love to combine into 1 step. I'm looking for a moisturizer with spf 30+ that isn't greasy to my skin. My skin is combo with the oily parts being really oily. I've tried cetaphil (the spf 15 and 55), cetaphil ...

Hi, well a few weeks ago, I got milia underneath my eyes, from using my Urban Decay 24/7 pencil concealer. Well actually, I'm not quite sure if they are milia are just clogged pores, but when I researched it, it sounds like it's milia. Anyhow, has anyone experienced this from cosmetics? 1. How long does it take for it to go away? I've stopped using my Urban Decay concealer, along with any ...
