I think in time these things do improve. You sound like a strong and resilient woman who will make it...

agreed. It sounds like she is doing all the right things that are best for her, all you can do is be there to listen, be available to skype, etc. I hope she's ok.

It seems like shes doing whats best for her despite the not eating part. She has moved out and is going to counseling. I guess the best you can do is stay in contact and give her support.

maybe they could feel you slipping further away from them and wanted some element of control over you?
I think there is really no use dwelling on it. I have an ex-boyfriend's mother who told me I was a gold digger, that her son would never marry me, and that the whole family hated me. I could keep trying to ...

Everybody wanted experience but how can you get experience if nobody will hire you to get the experience? It's a catch-22. I've been looking for a job since march and just landed one last week.
So yes it is really hard ...

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time.
Please don't hurt yourself - I know the compulsion must be strong if it's been a method of coping for you in the past, but it's how we act and think at the toughest times in life that really prove how far we've come!
