MMU-why I love Thee

I have a moisturizing spritzer from GloMinerals, and sometimes use it. When I do, I feel it gives my MMU a nice, creamy finish, and also helps it last longer. Maybe the same as with your method?

Well I'm proud to say that my foundation looked awesome in the evening right before I washed it all off. It still looked like I had just applied it. Even my blush remained vibrant and fresh. My skin felt less oily/greasy by the end of the day as well. I may never need to use a foundation brush ever again. And I just bought a couple more of them from EDM last month.

Holy Grails?

(I cbecked the forum first to see if a thread like this has been posted recently, but couldn't find one. If I just missed it, please feel free to direct me to it. ) I'm just curious if any of you have found your "holy grail" MMU products? The kind of products that have made you stop looking (because I guess that many who frequent this forum is still searching to see if there's something better out there...I...

What is going on???

This happens to me too but i was wondering if using a primer will make my skin drier (My skin is extremely dry because of the weather regardless of how much i moisturuse)? Because finishing powder only helps a little at concealing my pores and the ones on the side of my nose are HUGE when i wear MMU >''<

I think once women find the right shade & formula of MMU, the learning curve is a lot less steep for how to apply to make it look natural. I think liquid foundation can look natural, but it's a lot harder to find the right one and the right technique to make it look natural. The right MMU is easier to find and even a light coat will look good, whether applied with brush or sponge or whatever. I see so many women now with...

I use BE mineral lipstick and I find it tends to dry my lips out. After asking some of the girls on the boards, I now use some balm under my mineral lipstick and it seems to help. I think I will go to Macys' tomorrow and ask one of the ladies for a nice moisturizing lipstick instead.

I love both of them, but I find that Earthen Glow MMU stays put longer than Lauress. I like Lauress' finishing powders with my EGM though. I also have combo skin that's oily in the summer.

The past few days, my skin hasn't been behaving well, and none of my mineral fdts. seemed to fit, for some reason. So I decided to dig out my liquid MUs, which have been largely ignored this past year. But then, I decided I wanted sth. new, so went on a search . But it's totally impossible. Either the finish is too greasy (I have dry skin), coverage is too heavy, price is too steep (I'm ...

I am bad, I will find an HG and then try something else anyways But the foundation I always go back to is MAC Moistureblend, and I recently fell in love with Lemon-Aid from BeneFit for the dark circles around my eyes. Hmmm, what else... ProActiv could very well be my new HG skincare regimen, even though I have only been using it for about a week. My skin hasn't looked this good in ...

I placed my order on 11/17(I bought 2 foundation in clearance) and I got it yesterday, and I am really disappointed when I opened it. The powder has leaked out and one is half-fulled compare to the other one. I took some pictures, here they are: http://saoriwu.pixnet.net/album/photo/103340990 http://saoriwu.pixnet.net/album/photo/103340976

I'm not a huge fan of powdered concealers. Can anyone recommend a good concealer by a mineral makeup company that has good coverage? I have combination skin and don't often get pimples, but when I do they are large and red.

Yesterday I did a thorough cleaning job in my bathroom. I don't do this as often as I should. Normally I just do the toilet, floor, sink and shelf surfaces. Well yesterday I did the baseboards, walls, and doors. I was shocked to see all the beige-pink grime come off onto my cleaning cloth and into the water. There was mineral residue everywhere in my bathroom and a lot of it too. When I ...

It's cold up here north, and my skin hasn't been behaving well, plus I suddenly felt that even my lightest foundations (MMU) were too dark. Well, I got the brilliant idea that I'd apply some selftan before bedtime, and because selftan hardly shows up on me at all, I applied a generous layer. Maybe my skin has changed (now that I'm using less glycolic acid products), but when I woke up this...

I want to get the 5 piece sample kit but I am not sure which foundation shades to choose. They have so much categories when I am used to just two ( warm and cool). I have light olive skin that is uneven, and tans easily and unevenly. I was thinking about getting olive-light olive, golden fawn, and warm-buttered tan. What do you guys think? Also, I have large brown circles, which concealer...

What's the best brush you've used for powder mineral makeup? I can't seem to find a blend between coverage and cakey-ness. Has anyone found a good one and if so what do you use it with?

I agree. I recently had an experience with them. They charged me twice for one order. After placing an order I decided to cancel (before the order was processed and sent). Owner sent a rude and threatening email saying she was reporting me to my bank, etc. There are so many other and more reputable companies to order from.
