i have never used them but i will add my two cents. I rarley use pencil liner, i only use it for when i line my upper lash line to line the "tight line" so i dont get a weird white gap below my lashes. So for me i have to work really hard to not only find something that is soft enough to go there, which i will agree there are drug store products that can do this. But it also needs to be non pore clogging. so i did pick one...

I like the MAC ones cuz they have matte ones. But I don't think the formula is different between them... Does the HIP line have matte paints?

Best Products 4 Matte Finish
Published (2009-11-21 09:04:00)
Re: Best Products 4 Matte Finish I like the MUFE High Def finishing powder. It only comes in white and for the most part it's color free... with me being darker skinned, I have to spend more time buffing it in. BUT, it's great for a REALLY matte finish. I wish i wasn't so oily because I still have to use the Boscia blotting linens after a few hours. If you're not super oily, you could probably stay matte all day with the...

Well, the UD liners are very very glittery... and very creamy. but you are right, the travel a lot and i do have to set them. I like zero because it blends really well while doing smoky eyes, and i have a a few other colors i use regularly, but i have wondered if MUFE's are better. maybe i'll pick em up this weekend and compare!

Nope, you're not the only one. I don't like them either. IMO, the MUFE liners stay on *much* better. The only UD pencil that I prefer over the MUFE equivalent is the white one and only because the UD white shows up better than the MUFE white. HTH

have you tried using a primer? that will make a better base for your makeup and it will last longer.
also it sounds a little like you might be over exfoliating- you only really need to do it once a week, and eeek using an electric toothbrush might be more damaging to your skin than good for it!!

I am about to order some NYX from a fellow MuT 'er. I would get every color you mentioned. I have two of them and I will order the others when I make my order.
NYX has a lot of dupes for MAC.

I was in Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday and came accross a limited edition lise watier brush set that came in a nice black sequined clutch case which included a foundation brush, blush brush, eyeshadow brush, and lip brush.
I hesitated to find out the price and left the store quickly and can't stop thinking about ...

people that put a ridiculous amount of lipgloss and or lipstick on and keep smearing their lips for 1 minute straight then putting on more as the product absorbs. Just stop gyrating your lips for christs sake..

I really think it would be hard to thin out that type of shadow. I think you should one of those synthetic brushes and apply it thinly.

MUF isn't readily available in the UK so I don't have much of their stuff.
I do love their concealer though and pick it up at beauty tradeshows when they have stands.
I've tried their eyeshadows and think they're lovely but for me I prefer MAC's range and colour payoff.
