So i went to the doctor today and he is referring me to a sports physiotherapist... He did not give me anything to help with the pain but I should be seeing someone next week... It just seems so long away..

Both of my boys 8 and 11 had it as well! I really feel for you and hope you get better soon! My boys were in bed for a week straight and pretty much slept that entire week. When I took them to the dr. he said that if I had brought them in sooner (i just thought they had the flu) that they could give them Tamiflu but it has to be given in the first day or two of the symptoms. He also said that the only thing Tamiflu really does is makes it...

Thanks everyone I'm feeling better. My energy is a bit low but much better compared to before. I haven't been out much but I did some shopping today. My fever is gone, stomach not as nauseated, cough is going away.. yay! My doctor thought about giving me tamiflu but figured I was healthy and could fight it off. He said too it only takes effect within the first 48 hours of being diagnosed.

And anti inflamatories like ibuprofen and sports cream.. Also you need to stretch it out from time to time. Nothing drastic just standing straight up, move one arm down straight along yous side until it pulls and hold it then repeat the other side.. Gently.. Don't jerk of yank.. If you...

Are you menstruating normally? Is it about halfway between periods? If so it might be mid-cycle pain, which coincides with ovulation. I get it and it's a very sharp pain on one or both sides of your lower abdomen. It just started happening and I get it most months now, although not as bad as I used to. This link might be useful for you: Mittleschmerz or mid-cycle pain explained .

Go see a doctor, so you can have confirmation it's a cyst, and then if it's benign or not (in most cases it is, but you still have to make sure). I think they just do an x-ray or an echo to confirm the diagnosis, nothing invasive, and you could also get prescribed some painkillers.

When was the last time you menstruated if I may ask? If you missed a month or 2, then it's definitely a possibility you have it. Usually it does go away on it's own after a few months, but if you have great discomfort or pain, I suggest you get an appt with your gyno ASAP. Another question, are you on the pill? My gyno put me on it in order to regulate my cycle, since my hormone levels are unbalanced (which is why I get ovarian...

Do you have a heat pack? Heat that up and place it on the effected area. Also an anti inflammatory cream can sometimes help, though see what your doctor says before you go applying anything.

During my recent visit to London, I`ve got myself vitabiotics "Perfectil" with the triple action--for healthy hair, nails and skin. Does anyone familiar with these, by the way? It`s still too soon to tell much about its work, but I think I already have less hair loss than before . When I have something more to tell about this product, I`ll let you know. Oh, and thanks for reiminding me ...

This is a home remedy my husband uses everytime he gets a bad cough. It usually works for him, he takes it just before going to sleep at night: Cut up a few of pieces of raw ginger and boil with about 2 cups of water for about 5 minutes (or until you get some of the essence of the ginger in the water). Strain the water into a cup, add about a spoonful of honey. mix and drink while still hot...

A new treatment for swine flu may already be on pharmacy shelves - cholesterol-lowering statin drugs like Lipitor and Zocor. A large study found that people who were taking these drugs when they caught seasonal flu and had to be hospitalized were twice as likely to survive than those who were not on such medicines. This doesn't prove that statins can cure flu, or that starting on them ...
