agreed - also, you'll be surprised how little you personally will care on the day + we had a stuffup at our wedding where the cake was supposed to be put on a cake stand that my dad custom made to match the platters the candle centrepieces were on. when we got to the reception i looked at the cake and thought "wow the cake looks mega cute i'm so happy with how it turned out!" and didn't even realise the stand was...

probably not, tbh. It's only been in the 50s at night here, & I've been layered in jeans, rop socks and boots, a long-sleeved undershirt, a t-shirt, wool sweater, wool coat, scarf, and wool gloves, and I've still been chilled. I'd probably get warm when indoors and if I start dancing, but I could always remove the under layers if that happens. That's what big purses are for. ;D

as long as you have a professional seamstress. This should be too painful, especially with >> the seams... a lot of dresses have the hidden seams, which make it EXTREMELY difficult. i think you will be pretty safe :-)

I don't see why you couldn't fit more +++ The site says 110 with tables and chairs, but with the size and shape of that room, you could do two L shaped tables flanking the sides with a sweetheart table in the middle (figure the ends of the L's could be bridal party, SH table in between the two), that opens up the center for dancing.
