04 G35X Brake Rotors

wooow. Attitude? get the sand cleaned out of your reproductive cavities and go suck a railroad spike. Damn dude. Is that why I'm the only one who responded? because people recognize you're not a nice guy? Most hawk and akebono pads from tirerack are very good. You can get replacement rotors from stillen or brembo ones from tirerack as well and they hold up twice as long as the factory brakes. You can also get your choice of high...

Brake pads?

FYI Infinit parts usa dot com is having a sale on brake pads and rotors. They have some aftermarket ceramic pads and rotors at a very low price and offer a 5% discount until the end of the month.

Well I can't imagine that I am the only person who has warping problems on the X. Not sure when I asked you Poly if you had problems with your car and warping, that doesn't really solve my problem now does it. Obviously there are aftermarket parts, but when there are 30 different brands of rotors to choose from that doesn't make it easy. Maybe next time instead of getting your post count up, perhaps you could answer the...

Hi all! I am new to this forum and apologize if this has been posted already! I have a 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe with 17,500 miles on it. Two days ago, the Brake, Slip and VDCOFF" dash lights came on and stayed on for about 2 days. Yesterday, when leaving work, started the car, lights are all off. I checked rear brakes when lights initially came on, they are low, but not horrible, fronts, worn but not bad. Brake fluid a tiny bit low...

The worn brakes trigger the lights. Just replace the pads and you will be good to go.

squeaking brakes (07 g35 sedan)

I have the same issue, although mine is a coupe. 21K miles. Not sure if that matters or not. It has been to the dealer 4 times. Turned rotors in the front, then they turned the rotors in the back, then they put new pads on the front, then the 4th time they gave up. All of this was under the warranty...it only cost me my time. I needed new tires and had my tire guy look at them and he said that they look and feel fine....they just...

squeaking brakes (07 g35 sedan)

I bought my 04 Coupe with 44K miles on her and the dealer had just put on new NISSAN pads at all 4 corners. Brakes produced pounds of dust and squealed like a pig!!!!!! I replaced the fronts with Akebono pro-act pads and no more squealing pig!!! I didn't turn them since they looked fine. I think they stop great. They were recommended to me by a Nissan parts manager who also works on some race cars. With that said, if I were going to...

Hankooks SUCKS!!! I know from experience. I own a 1993 Q45 and when it rains I can get sideways from a stop till 3rd gear at WOT or half throttle even. So there not the best tire. I had Michelin before and I thought I would save some money and find a softer tire but I was wrong.

I get the same creaking noise in my '05 G35x w/45K. It happens (or is only audible) at low speed. I've been told it's coming from the control arm bushings and the way to tell is if doesn't squeak when it's raining. Mine doesn't squeak in the rain. My question is, does this need to be addressed, or do I just need to put up with the noise?

okay i know what you mean when i got my 20's on my g35x sedan i had the same problem and i had to go to different shops until i finally figured it out you need to make sure they balance the back tires because if u have no weights on the rim that could cause a shake and u might need the rim spacers im not sure if u have them last thing make sure they have a special wheel balance machine and its...

The OEM wheel dimensions for a 2004 G35 sedan is a 17"x7" rim and 215/55/17 tire. I need winter tires and I can get winter rims 16"x6.5" with 205/65/16 tires for about 40% less than going with the OEM dimensions and the diameter of the wheel will be nearly identical to what is on the car already. Can I expect any major differences in handling, and will the ABS, VDC be negatively affected? Has...
