zzzzzzzzzzzz.... Really, what's the big deal? It's a great GUI. If you really hate it, go over to Motunation.com, there are a couple of people who have put together their own GUI mods, you can grab them for free.

In DP, go to Setup > Configure Audio System > Configure
Hardware Driver. Select Built-in Audio. If you see separate Built-In Input and Built-in Output items, hold Command and select them both, and change Host Buffer Multiplier to 2.

Why do you need an aux track? Just use a single
audio track. Set the track input to the interface input that the pick-up is connected to, and set the track output to the interface outputs where your monitors or headphones are connected.
