I'm not sure you can get to it using Mobile me? (I Dont use it) If not, then you can use a free FTP client to access the pages & if for some reason that does not work, you could always try YummyFTP as an FTP client. Its really cheap & has worked great for me. Also, but not sure. After saving your site in iWeb, it saves to a folder where you can also access your HTML & add it in there before you upload it to your...

Don't forget this gem! "Notepad (must have tool for any profesional web designer to edit HYML code and fine tuning)" Plus, why would you use AutoCAD for a website? Just curious... And they have their own URL, yet still have a @gmail.com e-mail address. Funny... Shouldn't a web design studio's BEST WORK be on their OWN site? Can you imagine what their projects look like? Good lol's for my boring Thursday!

What program should you use for HTML and PHP? Is that what you're trying to ask? I would suggest TextWrangler (Mac only). It's just a simple Text Editor, but that's all you need. Just about any Text Editor (NOT TextEdit) will do it!

Yeah, just figured out I would a) want to create a 'user' account and b) direct it to a folder. Brilliant! Thanks

It doesn't matter what ftp client you use. So either it be Cyberduck or some other ftp program it doesnt matter. Does your host provide you with cPanel access? If so you can set something up like this: How do I set up public ftp? - Hostmonster Forums

They're against it because they are purists! And think that a website can only be good if it designed in notepad or equivalent! I would recommend iWeb if you are a beginner and just want to get a site up and running quickly and easily, or Dreamweaver if you are willing to learn a fairly advanced application for designing websites! Both do the job very well!

Hi there. That looks like you are using some sort of table or chart, which requires this plugin. I've tried doing it in Pages and encounter the same problem. Seems to be buggy. Make sure you have the latest version of iWeb. If there is a newer one, it may contain bug fixing.

Are you talking like a public ftp folder? I'm not quite sure what you are asking. All ftp is sort of like a dropbox. You need your password and username to connect and you can download/upload as you wish.

Site link? iWeb uses the page name as the pages title and that is what Google is properly indexing. Inside the file that represents that welcome page is this; <title>Welcome</title>. Keep in mind that the Google results could be stale. I'm not sure how often they rescan pages. If dynamically changing the title is possible, you would need to be using a service (not mobileme) where you ...

Just for confirmation you have you set up like this: The cloud-------------------->your internet connection-->your router--->your computer serving the site (everyone on the internet) And the issue is your internet connection doesnt allow traffic in over port 80? In which case no there is nothing reasonable you can do. You could put a reverse proxy somewhere like a datacenter and ...

I'm new to flash and I'm having a bit of trouble getting some actionscript to work. I have this in my main timeline: numPopped = 0; poppedCount.text = numPopped; and this at the end of a few movie clips: stop(); _root.numPopped++; poppedCount.text = _root.numPopped; It just stays at zero and doesn't update. Can anyone help me out, please?
