If you manange to get the phone respondig again, just take it Ito an Apple Store and get an ot of warranty battery replacement. Thy replace your phone with a refurbished one (pretty much new) so you can be on your way again. Of course, they check to see if your phone is working. If you can't get your phone working, you need to replace the digitizer. Apple can do this for you for $199, or you can do it for around 100. Or, you fan send it...

Great, you'll be ok doing that then. I have even used a Blackberry sim in an iPhone before and they never made me change plans. All they did was send me an SMS asking me to get the right iPhone plan. After six months, they never did a thing.

iPhone and Water troubleshoot
Published (2009-11-06 07:18:00)
When you say water did touch it, where did it touch it. It will depend on if any of the water got inside. If it got on the back casing, it wont have gone inside. But if it got to the dock connector then it would have got to the main board which can cause problems. Also if it got into the headphone jack its a similar story. The problem is that water + electronics do not mix and even the slightest amount can kill it. Think of it as shorting a...

I manually manage most of my stuff and didn't want to have all my music deleted by syncing so I tried dragging the ringtones over...
The ringtones would show up on my phone in iTunes, but when I went to access them on the actual phone, they were not there. Even dragging them to the iPhone icon didn't work for me......

If you're going to use it on AT&T, there is no need to unlock it.
You will need to jailbreak it to get past activation.
The SIM from your RAZR "may" work. Depends on how old it is.
It doesn't really matter though as AT&T will know you have an iPhone the moment it registers with a tower.
Just drop your SIM in the iPhone (provided it's compatible and the iPhone is activated) and then ...

DON'T TURN IT ON AGAIN!!! TURN IT OFF!!!
Put it in a bag of rice for several days (3 min) and leave it off. The rice will help to pull the moisture out of it. After 3 or 4 days, give it a try. If it still doesn't work, you will have to buy a new one.

It's covered in the warranty, though, right? Because it's defective. The link is for out of warranty replacement.

YOU'RE NOT MAKING ANY SENSE and it's frustrating to the people in here trying to answer your (illogical) question.
WHAT do you mean music videos won't "show" in Cover Flow? You cannot WATCH a music video in cover flow, if that's what you mean. You can only watch it through the Videos menu in your iPod. Cover Flow DOES show the music video in the album track list, but if you tap it, it...

My beloved iPhone 3G got wet while sitting in my pocket during a heavy rain shower. At first, I didn't really see the harm (it was just wet, so I wiped it dry) since it was still working. But about an hour later, I got it out again and noticed that the screen was flickering (backlight on and off) and the volume was constantly going up and down, which concerned me a lot since I'm just in love...
