Every time I get an app through the app store on my phone, it can take hours to load the app or it just outright fails and i have to reload the firmware. has anyone else been experiencing this? This makes the app store unusable. i wish they would stop running that commercial that shows it happening in seconds because that just pisses me off.

Hi I own an older iPhone 2g 16GB and it got stuck on the apple logo a few days ago and I did some research and got it to get to the point of restoring but with it saying error (6) about a quarter of the way into it. No matter how many times I try to reset the phone by pressing the power button and home key, it just goes black for a few moments and then back to the Apple logo reboot screen - and it doesn't advance from there.
