I've coded web sites for the iPhone. I opted to use a special template designed for the iPhone, which is really nothing more than a unique stylesheet combined with HTML and Javascript to build the menu system. http://www.knoxing.com/2007/08/20/cr...hone-template/ But the key thing is the CSS template defines the height and width boundries in static pixels in an overall wrapper, then you can just set CSS widths to 100% for the elements...

This is where it currently is, my teacher uploaded it earlier and has been messing with it so now you can't access the main site. the image banner on this is working now. When i live view the site it just appears with blue boxes with question marks. It has been working fine but the deadline for the site was today and now it's not. http://www.camemedia.co.uk/students/...ee/splash.html

Website would be considered illegal in many areas of the EU for one major reason. Its not accessible, my screen reader can not read the text so it is therefor completely un-accessible. Also it is dreadfully slow to load, and its fully Flash for no purpose what so ever.

Guys, I tried out Bannerzest because someone told me it has this exact effect in it. And it indeed does. So I think I am just going to use it. This site is more a favour to someone, and I can't spend much time stressing over a solution. So I will use the easiest one! Thanks for the help!

Geez, I feel like an idiot now. That worked fine (well it's good enough, lol) since I took it down to 82%. The margin is still different when you turn the iPhone but like I said, it's good enough. Thank you too all that helped!

Aside from Dreamweaver, I sometimes use Smultron . It's not feature-packed, but it has tabs (I think), code highlighting, code snippets, allows you to group related files into projects and it's free and very Mac-like. Unfortunately, it's not being developed anymore although the latest (last?) version is 10.6 compatible.

I think you'd have to create an animation like this in a 3D package, such as Blender, save it as a Quicktime video, then import it into Flash as embedded video within a movieclip.
You could then tween the movieclip playhead forward or backward to run the animation.

Hey,
I had the same problem (also in iWeb '08) but found that when I published it to the internet (instead of to a folder then previewing it) it worked fine.
This is the link:

Like you, the navigation bar was completly gone and random links didn't work. But when I published it, as you can see, everything seems to have fixed itself!

It's a bug in Mac OS X: https://bugs. webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5760
A solution is to add an AJAX call when you submit the form:

You could do this fairly easily with Drupal and a couple of modules.

Keep the wp-config.php file and /wp-content/uploads directory and you should be fine. As usual back up your entire website (database and files) before you do this. If you get lots of traffic do it during the time where you get the least amount of traffic.

I think it varies from person to person, or machine to machine. I would like this on my MacBook, but would be annoyed on my iMac because I use it for different things.

The browser takes you to the "action" url of the form when you click the submit button. I assume you want the user to remain on the blog post page, but with his or her comment added. There are a few ways to do this.
One way is to put a redirect back to the blog post into your comment_process. php script.
Another way: Say that your blog post display PHP script (the one that ...

Your web page doesn't know what orientation you're holding the iPhone. The iPhone can zoom in and out, the page doesn't really change its layout.

It really doesn't matter which way. I would assume you would use a database. It just makes things easier. You need programming experience in PHP, ASPNET, etc though.
You could for instance, type your HTML for your blog post, and paste it into a new blog record in your database.

Assuming the form processing is done in PHP you can use the header function redirect the user after a successful email send. That redirect can simply go to a thanks page.

Must have posted the wrong code. I see absolutely zero references to any Javascript library being loaded, no CSS selectors affecting images or rel attributes set (which is how shadowbox works). That's a simple HTML page that displays images and nothing else happens to them in any way.
The shadowbox stuff is here, follow instructions for installation. Unless you mean something else by ...

MojoPortal is a new CMS to me, so I can't speak to it. It seems to have a following because it is one of the few open-source CMSs that is built for .net and IIS. So, if you have a client who insists on using windows servers and technologies, its an option.
In my experience -- when it comes to open source projects -- clients prefer a CMS that has a large-user base of installed developers...

You need a static IP from your ISP, but first, you need to check with them to see if it is allowed. Hosting your own site from a home internet connection is usually outside the acceptable use of your service.
